Thanks for the info. It's just upsetting that money my family and I contribute could benefit all kids, not just the ones who use the football field.

So much for books and actual learning implements. I can't tell you how many times I've been told that books aren't affordable and it infuriates me. I guess my kid should start playing football so he could get some use of the money I pay in taxes. Can SPLOST money not be earmarked upfront for books?

Apparently great minds think alike, because that was my exact question.

First off, I'm always VERY skeptical of 'guests' on radio shows with stories like this. They're way too inflammatory and I have to wonder it's all a set up for ratings. Could people really be this shallow and pathetic? If this is a real story, she needs her ass kicked, her parents need to leave her spinning in the wind financially and I pity any foolish man who involves himself with her in the future. I wouldn't even admit to knowing such a loser as this pig.

Stage one of his estate sale is going on in Powder Springs. Hubby and I are going tomorrow if for nothing else than to see his compound. Woohoo! http://www.estatesales.net/GA/Powder-Springs/30127/939303

And as horrible as 'profiling' is to some, how can we be any other way? Apparently, this seemed like a 'normal' kid, going to a US high school with a middle eastern name. And then today he does this? If things we continue to see keep being done by the same type of person, as in race, religion, etc., how is that racist or how is it profiling? In my world, a spade is a spade is a spade regardless their age color, religion, marital status, blah, blah, blah..............

Exactly. That place would go up like a tinder box. I LOVE this store!!!! Also, there are MANY, MANY places that won't hire you if you smoke, Hubbys company is one of them.

That should change this instant. Who is better trained than a US Marine to carry and use a weapon? They were sitting ducks for that crazy &^(# and this isn't the last of this kind of thing IMO. What a sad, sad day.

And to think I'm bothered by the broads applying mascara while going 60 down 278.

Ann Coulter Talks About Immigrants will Bill Maher.

Ann Coulter is an idiot and the fact that she can still get her stupid self on TV is beyond me. Who would EVER listen to her absurd rants? -
I guess you can tell from my question that I don't watch the news, thanks ya'll. The price of bacon did go down, as did cheese, but I still almost choked when I saw the new pricce of eggs.

I usually go to Sams every other Friday for specific staples such as sugar, butter, milk, OJ, cheese, eggs, etc. 2 weeks ago when I bought 3 dozen eggs, they were $4.72. Today, the exact same eggs were almost $9.00. WTH?? I didn't buy them and ran by Publix to get a smaller amount and 1 dozen was $3.47. What has happened to egg prices in the last two weeks? These are normal, large sized eggs, not Egglands Best. I was stunned.

Hubby is running the Peachtree, (I am not). After that, a cookout with the family and then fireworks in Acworth. Today was Hubbys first day off in 19 days because of the heat, transformers tend to burn up and need replacing, so we're looking forward to a weekend with him at home. Have fun and be careful!!

The fitness place in the old Kmart building

That's correct, you have to have a black card membership and that's 20.00 per month. You get access to everything and you can bring one guest per day for free. Hubby isn't interested in tanning or the massage beds so it works well for us. That sounds good....... -

The massage chairs are nothing like the nail salon chairs. You can adjust where you want the most massage, it massages your legs too. The water massage bed is really cool. You lay down and it feels sort of like the chair but your prone. It's very soothing, I love it. -

I don't believe it, he's a whacko. I do wish it were true and maybe I'm wrong, but coming from him, I don't buy it for a second. -

I have a membership and I love it. Now, having said that I want to be clear and say I HATE TO EXERCISE!!! In the past I've hated other gyms, but this one is very different in the fact that it's just like the commercial says, 'no lunk zone'. There aren't body builders there making you feel weird or women dressed like strippers. They have TV's you can watch while you exercise, tanning beds, water massage beds, massage chairs, women and mens locker rooms, etc. Bottom line for me is if I'm willing to pay and actually go, it must be a pretty good place. Hubby and I go together and since I have -
Pedestrian Struck by Train near Marietta Square
dawneykids replied to tiggybff16's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yep, I've watched many trains, but never on the tracks. Why would you do that? And the people who try to beat trains and weave through the cross arms are just PLAIN STUPID, I'm sorry if they get killed, but they're stupid. And the worst part about that is, if you're a passenger you have no control over the fool driving. NO KIDDIN'!!!!
