Oh! I hate to hear this. My prayers are with his family. George not only was my bus driver many years ago, all 4 of my children had the privilege of being driven by him as well. He was a bus driver who went above and beyond!!! R.I.P Mr. Alsobrook!

I would be horrified if someone had to come to me and tell me my kids are behaving that way. It's sad that you've spoken to them and yet they are still not doing their job to protect their kids. Some kids at this age are very responsible about waiting at the bus stop without their parents standing right with them, but judging from the way these particular kids are behaving, their age isn't the problem.

I have all the respect in the world for LE, but DO NOT let them tell you an officer must be there to witness the incident!!!!!!!!! We had several people run the stop arm a few years ago and each and every time this is what we were told. Finally I called the Georgia Department of student safety, and the very professional man I spoke to read me the law and no where does it state an officer must witness it. As long as you and the driver get a tag # and a description of the car and driver you should be good to go. I would advise you however to stay on it!!! Get a copy of the police report, make as
