Does anybody know what the status is of this end of the Silver Comet Trail? It's been a month since the floods. Shouldn't there be SOME kind of progress up that way? Is it going to be permanently closed? That would be a waste of funds, wouldn't it?

I know that you are worried. But you have to know that the school office personnel don't know you. They can't be sure that you are a parent just because you say you are. You could be from the media. IF it's something like an escaped convict or someone the cops are chasing or searching for, then the local schools would be on lockdown so that the hunted person can not access the school. It's for the safety of those inside the walls of the schools.
