  1. And I'm sure he does! That's so sweet! And it wouldn't be the least bit scandalous if they did become an item. Though I think it would be a hard relationship for them to maintain, and especially at such a young age and with the whirlwind around them.
  2. I would suggest going to the home listed as the address of the HOA president. As I've mentioned before, my husband is the president of our HOA. We try to make sure every resident has a key, but we can't always make sure that everyone does. Over here, either a phone call or a knock on our door is all it takes to see that homeowners current on their dues have access to the amenities here. My husband is out-of-state at the moment, but he's left me with a stash of keys and a list of homeowner statuses so I can dispense them as needed. I'd say just knock on their door and ask. We're all nei
  3. People see what they want to see. I saw two close friends celebrating.
  4. Did he say that exactly? I don't think so...I think they became really good friends, and he was saying that, though he won Idol, Lauren isn't going anywhere...they'll be working together through the summer for the tour, and they're both in country music. I didn't "get" that they were an item.
  5. I've been switching back and forth between AI and the 12 hours I have DVR'ed of the Casey Anthony trial! I'll never be able to see it all! From auditions, I thought either Scotty or Lauren would win it. I really thought Scotty more, but Lauren won me over. I'm so happy for both of them! And I just know, though she's disappointed, Lauren is so happy for Scotty.
  6. I agree. I'll be happy for whoever wins, and a bit disappointted for whoever loses. I've rooted for Scotty since day 1, but I'd hate to see Lauren lose! Who knew Jack Black could sing?
  7. I don't like Shrub. No secret. But as someone else said, it wouldn't have mattered who it was going 85 miles over the speed limit on a PUBLIC road--I would think the punishment should be equal for anyone that careless and reckless. Add to my disgust...I have mentioned my husband is currently working/living in NC. This incident happened less than three miles from his home there, on a road he drives frequently. But I didn't need any more reason to dislike him. I already dislike him to the maximum. Sure, he's a winning driver, and a good driver on the track, but he's also dangerous, c
  8. I knew exactly what you meant! I guess we have a grammar mod now! I've seen title misspellings corrected a couple of times this last week. I think it's funny!
  9. I DVR'ed today's program, and I've been watching it off and on this evening. I'm not through the prosecution's OS yet, but I'll just say...if they can prove everything they are presenting in their statement, hell is too nice a place for Casey Anthony.
  10. David WHO? (Just kidding!)
  11. Lauren just nailed it with that song. THAT could be a hit. Wow.
  12. Well...I can't see Scotty's song being a big hit. In fact, I didn't like it at all.
  13. I'll be happy whoever wins. They have both been my favorites since auditions. I've liked Scotty a lot, but I think Lauren is equally talented. So, I'm happy no matter what!
  14. I sorta watched it while I was doing other things...I'm not "into" it, but I didn't really want anything on that I was "into." I watched the end. These people are all so FREAKING FAKE!! Who thinks they're going to find "true love" on a reality TV show? I think the track record of couples on the show speaks for itself. When the guys who got booted had their "private" boohoo interviews, all I could think was, "DUDE? Grow some and quit yer whining already?" Sheesh. You met her ONCE, for ONE NIGHT. She kicked you to the curb, and you're WHINING about it? In my Book Of First
  15. I'm sorry for your loss, sugail. I LOVE my MIL. She's not in great health, and she's also older. It will break my heart when she is gone. But remember...it's those of us who are left behind who hurt. The one we mourn is no longer in pain. I hope your sadness is short-lived.
  16. Devastating. The town is destroyed. I sincerely hope we can avoid any severe weather here later this week.
  17. I know. I wasn't busting your chops. Just agreeing.
  18. Watching The Weather Channel coverage... Scary.
  19. So does cracking open beer cans. I hope you have enough left in the morning to trim the hair off that dog. They don't sell it on Sundays around here, you know.
  20. Didn't I say what I'd likely do? Why did you ask the question if you didn't want to hear answers? And then try to say that anyone who didn't answer the way you wanted had morals beneath your own? OH--maybe THAT'S why you asked! Well, you get the "golden" cookie for having perfect values!!! And how appropriate that you get your "gold" medal on Sunday morning!!
