Nah. Not thinking too hard at all. But yes, there are always what-ifs. What if, while I was planting my veggies this weekend, while digging I discovered a big old vein of gold. Should I contact the people who owned this property before I did to let them know they left some undiscovered gold behind? How is this so different? Not over-thinking it at all. Just asking how it's any different. When someone relinquishes a property to a new owner, the new owner owns the property and everything there within.

I'm certainly not saying I would necessarily keep it, but how can you call it "ill-gotten"? It's not "ill-gotten" if the heirs signed over the house. It's kind to inform them that it was found, but in no way could it be considered "ill-gotten." I probably would do the same thing as the guy who found it. I wouldn't want to keep it...but...I think there's sense in asking what it means when the rights are signed over to a new buyer. What if it had been 45 years and the heirs of the person who bought the house found it all those years later. Would the grandchildren or great grandchildr
-
Ok...so what if you called the heirs up, and said, "There seems to have been some items that belonged to your family left in the attic of this house. I just wanted to let you know. Would you like to come and get this stuff?" And they said, "No, we've gone through the house. What's left is left." Then what? Oh, and by the way, you're adding elements to the story that don't exist in what was reported. Usually by the time the family signs the papers, they are finished with the property, correct?

While finding the "rightful" owners is the kind thing to do, when you buy a property, what is there is yours, right? What if the attic had been full of useless trash? Could the new owner "rightfully" call the heirs to come haul it off, or would the trash be "his" along with the rest of the property he purchased?

Those are amazing pics!!

No...see...it was going to happen at 6:00 pm in all time zones...each time zone. My daughter is traveling through Texas (Central Time). I told her I'd call her quick when it started here so she'd know. ***look outside for raptors*** (BTW..."sorta like the wave with more Jesus" CRACKED ME UUUUP!!! )
-
No, no no! This was supposed to be a "rolling rapture" that got you at 6:00 pm no matter where you were...

I was also wondering who else didn't make the first cut...

Tonight belonged to Haley. She was crazy good. Wow.
-
Haley SO COMPLETELY won round one! That was AWESOME!!
-
Lauren was just MEH. It wasn't anything to get excited about. She's done better. That was mediocre.

Gravity is a heartless biotch.

Scotty was Ah. Maze. Ing. On his first song. Seriously. He slayed that song!

I went into Atlanta tonight and missed the show, but I DVR'd it and am watching it now. I don't like Haley. But I'll watch with an open mind. I'm all for Scotty. But it might be better for him AND for Lauren if Haley wins. But I don't like Haley. AT. ALL. Scotty and Lauren.

If she worked and lived IN their home for 20 years, and the kid is 14, at some point don;t you think Maria should have said, "Uhm...Arnie? Maria's little Jose looks JUST LIKE you..." I ain't buying that she "just" learned of this a couple of months ago. Wandering eye or not, she's not blind.

Beside herself twice, you mean. She's always beside herself. I watched a bit of the coverage today, after the recess. It sounded like maybe a plea deal was made? -
Cheaters cheat. That's what cheaters do--they cheat. It has NOTHING to do with the women they cheat on. It has to do with their OWN insecurity. Men who have hot wives and who are secure in themselves don't cheat. Just ask my other half.

Photoshopped ugly babies really don't count. But you knew that, right?

Yeah well while I don't follow any prediction sites or anything like that, I think Chelsea will win. And maybe she should...but she's what, like 23? And Hinze is a pro athlete.. Kirstie was an overweight used-to-be "star" when she came into this thing, and no one has come farther than she has this last few months. While I suspect you're right, I hope you're wrong. I'd LOVE to see Kirstie win. But I doubt she will.
-
YAY!! But...how did you cook it this time?
-
Sadly I guess, I was right---it WAS Ralph. He did really well. He just didn't have the popular vote the others do.
-
So, who's going home tonight? I think Ralph. But I dunno. I think Chelsea is in till the end. I think she might just win, which in some way? Irritates me a bit. She's one of the youngest and fittest. But she's done really well. Hinze rocks!! Stevie Nicks? She's older than Kirstie!! And is it just me, or is she really off-key?

I'm not prone. AT ALL. When you have the best, why shop for something else? My husband works/lives out of state. I get some "strange" every time he comes home. So does he.

People who make a living out of lying and cheating are cheating, lying people. And we're supposed to act all shocked or something when they're caught lying and cheating? UmYEAHno.

I could care less whether or not he could keep the one-eyed snake in its hidey-hole than I am that he kept this a secret for 10 years so that he could enjoy his political position. Dem or Repub has nothing to do with anything--cheaters aren't required to declare party affiliation before they cheat. And there are plenty on either side. It's sad that anyone would make a stricken and hurting family into any kind of a party thing just to make some inane political point. Seriously, some of you just need to GROW UP.
