It makes no sense that we allow people to legally buy cheap liquor by the quart but won't let them buy herbs by the ounce. Pot isn't any more innocuous than liquor, and most likely is much LESS innocuous. One can only get SO high, but one can get drunk to the point of being unconscious. I don't advocate abuse of either, but given consequences and effects, it makes no sense to have legal alcohol and illegal weed. Just my .02
