My previous comment was a quote from Office Space......hopefully someone realized it..... I would actually open a huge dog rescue facility and put some money into the Rescue Squad where I'm a life member and got my start in EMS when I was in high school.

I'm sure the worms/trojans can do it, but it seems to be more of a trendy defense tactic because the investigator can't say for sure that the contraband file came from the virus. My guess is that in this guy's case, they will have log files from the ISP that show he downloaded the files they found so his defense probably won't work. -

haha. you bought the excuses, but do you think a jury will? -
I just listened to the radio side of the incident. I have no idea what time the first 911 call was received, but can tell you from listening to the recording, Rescue 3 was on scene in less than 2 minutes from the time of dispatch . It sounded like the dispatcher was getting "walked on" which made the actual dispatch take a few extra seconds. Unfortunately the Rescue units don't have a tank or pump. Both Engine 3 and Rescue 3 were very quick to mark enroute. Engine 3 marking enroute first. I never actually heard engine 3 mark on scene, but Command reported they were starting their a

I agree, that can and does happen, but I'm not convinced it is the majory occurance. You might find a good candidate that is not currently employed, but when most of your list is made up of these folks, it is a little suspect. I don't live in Hiram and really don't care who they bring on. My guess is they won't stay long though.
-
You've missed the point. Nothing sinister at all. It is OK to hire from the outside; just do a better job sourcing a list of qualified applicants. This would NEVER be an applicant list for a high level position within a corporation. Their list looks more like a who's who list of city/county managers that can't hold a job. If nobody else wants them that should say something.
-
I believe if you do a little more research, you will find true performers tend to stay in their position (in that specific role). It looks like one of the candidates gets the "assistant to the regional manager" job mid 2010, then in early 2012 is interviewing for jobs half way accross the country. The candidate did not get the job, then resigns from their current position.....and now wants to work for Hiram.....and Hiram is interested...... Sounds like that person was likely not a fit for the position or was not performing. Basic applicant screening techniques would tell me this cand

I guess someone forgot to tell Cobb County. They've had the same county manager since 1993.
-
Yeah, I get that. The good ones usually manage to stay employed though. And if mostly unemployed candidates are looking at Hiram, that might tell you something too.
-
A lot of them have "former" in their title. I'd be a little concerned as to why the are not currently in that position and why they left. If they were doing a good job seems like they would still be in the position and not looking for a job.

If you've had a tetanus shot, you've probably received the whooping cough (pertussis) vaccine as well. You can request tetanus only, but nobody ever does. CDC Info

Well, I wasn't naked, but I was dispatched to the home of a man that had called 911 for assistance. Upon arrival we found a naked man in the home with a wine bottle stuck on his penis. Only the thick neck of the bottle remained around the shaft of his pens because he had taken a hammer to the bottle in an attempt to remove it. (Broken glass everywhere) Apparently he had taken a lighter to the end of the bottle to create vacuum, for his enjoyment, but created a bit too much and sucked it all in.

Anyone know the timeframe on the new radio system?

How old is he? Is he a good kid otherwise? If it were me, and this was the only major opportunity, I would not worry about it too much, and I would not buy any more ink (figure out another way to print). Does he play any sports? I know if if mine are worn out physically from sports, they have a harder time being a pain in the butt at home. You could also get him a cheap/used laser printer, black and white only even. Thousands of pages on a single cartridge, and cheap on ebay. With my 3, I've finally learned I've got to pick my battles, and most just aren't worth it because t

Try reading it again. If you still don't understand, let me know. "that a vehicle may be parked on such property safely out of the flow of traffic for a reasonable time as is required to first clear a location on the site, and off of the county road, for parking, but in no case shall such vehicle be permitted to remain on such property for a period exceeding eight hours"
-
From the Paulding County Code: Sec. 62-63. - Unlawful use of county road. (b)No person shall park or cause to be parked, on any county road or any property maintained by the county or its political subdivisions, any vehicle overnight or for any other period; provided, however, that disabled vehicles may remain on such property, in an area safely out of the flow of traffic, for a reasonable period not to exceed 24 hours, which time limit may be waived by the office of the county sheriff or marshal, provided further, however, that a vehicle may b

I've been meaning to post the same question. We notice issues with their ground beef as well. I'm going to check in to some of the places Brad_W has posted.

Still might not help. I believe it takes a couple of weeks for the vaccine to be effective, and I think an infected dog can be contagious for several weeks afterwards, even after treatement. Might want to ask your vet a few more questions. This is why I keep my dog's vaccines up to date.

The formatting will look something like this. To get the background color changed, click on format, then click the patterns tab and that will allow you to change the backgroud color. The color option on the first tab (the font tab) changes the color of the writing within the cell. You can highlight all of the formulas at once and add the conditioning. If you get the formula right in one cell you can all copy, paste special, formatting (or something similar), but I'd just highlight them all and add the formatting. Also, I usually use more flat/mild colors as they are much easier to read.

I'm guessing your B2 cell is the formula for your 12"X12" window, which is how I've based my test sheet (does not matter if your's in if a different spot). My original formula was =B1*A2/144, and I changed it to =$B$1*A2/144, then dragged the formula down to fill in the formulas in the rest of the row in column B. When you copy that formula to column C, you will need to manually change it to =$C$1*A2/144 (when you paste it, B will still be there). You will still have to change formula 84 times using this way. You can also put the cursor in front of the cell (within the formula) that you
