    Not really supposed to hit until after 3pm-ish and go through most of the night. I'm hoping it will just go away. also - there is a flash flood watch, I believe, in effect until tomorrow sometime - I think that is what I heard.

    Check with West Georgia Spay/Neuter in Villa Rica. They used to have a feral program. Also, contact Paulding Humane, they might be able to assist or point in a direction. GOOD LUCK!

    Sorry .... I hit a wrong button around here and didn't even know it I was only seeing a handful of posts and nothing else ... did know there were conversations going on! so ..... What are you having tonight? DH tries to insist we have Burger night at least once a week or every other week, so he wins tonight. Burgers and Curly Fries Onions, Relish, Cheese, Ketchup and Mustard Fries with spices. Chocolate pudding dessert (if needed) What are you having?

    OH MY ..... It has been sunny now for several hours and it is lovely outside! Can't wait for tomorrow when it gets slightly warmer and it is to be a sunny day --- plus I have the day off to go honor veterans! But ... for today, still have things I must do and then I'll make dinner. We are going to have a roasted garlic, corn and potato chowder with turkey paninis. A nod to the fall comfort food and very delicious. I'll have some of the soup leftover and sounds like I'm going to need it with the chill coming this weekend. How about you?     .... another dreary day .... another inch of rain (believe it or not). so .... What are you going to have tonight? I made a Slow Cooker Taco Chili the other night, so we are going to have more tonight. Hearty, comforting, warming, satisfying - great for a dreary day. What are you having?

    Thanks for posting your thoughts and food. Sounds like everyone has similar ideas. Good comfort food and keeping warm! Tomorrow for us will be leftover Taco Chili and I'm planning Soup (surprise for y'all) on Tuesday with the incoming cooler weather. Anybody else?

    What another BLECH day! Not much able to do unless you like to clean. I did do some reorganizing in a room and swept the decks so we can pick up leaves later this week, but not much else able to do other than craft (my excuse to indulge). Tonight we are going to have a ham & swiss quiche with a fancy salad of mixed greens, green pepper (out of the garden), red onion (out of the garden), mushroom and cucumber which will be topped with a homemade mustard vinaigrette. ---> YUMMY! and .... I will have leftovers for later this week which will make another hecked day a bit better wi

    No matter what you call it, we have it in the evening! SO ... what are you having tonight? We are going to grill burgers as it has been a while since we have been able to grill. Having curly fries with the burgers and the burgers will have some usual toppings of cheese, onions, relish, mustard and ketchup. Might have some chocolate pudding with fresh strawberries & blueberries on top, with whipped cream if it looks like it might need it. How about you? Please don't be shy.     ^ do this. It is only going to be as good as the ingredients used. ^ will produce the same thing and actually is a good teaching lesson opportunity. GOOD LUCK and Congrats to your son for getting interested in cooking!

    In years past, we would be lighting them every night of this week (mostly with the battery type lights). But no pumpkins this year .... but I do have our halloween wreath up.

    In the same area, but farther south. Hearing something going on - in a BIG circle around S Hwy 61, Hiram Sudie, Bakers' Bridge/DallasNebo, etc .... Would be interesting to know what is happening.
