  1. ^ tend to agree. Call the Animal Shelter and talk with them - 770-445-1511, open again tomorrow at 2 but call and leave a message. You can tether an animal for no more than 12 hours per day as long as the animal also is in a confined yard or pen - that is the law. I hope you are wrong and that your dog gets better very quickly.
  2. Please contact the animal shelter = 770-445-1511 Let them know of his missing so if someone calls in to see if missing, they will know. dogs lose collars a lot. Ask them about sending in a picture if you have some as well. They have a facebook page too where you can post to, ask them about that too. I'll let friends in that area know about him missing and keeping an eye out for you. Hope you find him soon!
  3. The Paulding Neighbor had a big article about this.
  4. Glad to hear you had a great trip. Charleston is a wonderful city to visit, hope they don't get hit too hard by the bad weather.
  5. Nope .... wrong. Only Senate and Superior Court Judge had any kind of ability of a "DEMOCRATIC" participant to be able to have someone to have a choice on voting. All other positions were unopposed. You had to pick "REPUBLICAN" to have any chance at voting for any choice in this county --- and a lot of those choices were BAD or WORSE. So all you are saying is you have to pick a party to vote - which should be abolished. I might like to switch my opinion on who to support who represents me, not the party of which they applied to so they got support and the BIG R for some to support.
  6. 1. I don't think a lot of the voters actually had anyone to vote for/against. Not all districts had individuals up for election. 2. A lot of the positions didn't have any opposition, so why bother if there is only 1 person to vote for. 3. You had to pick a straight party line to vote. If you didn't want to do that, there wasn't much choice. 4. For those areas who had election options, the options really were not. IMHO.
  7. that must have changed as they used to make it where you had to buy 10 of whatever to get the savings.... I have found it depends -- but BOGO helps with coupons they will double. YUMMY SOUNDING!
  8. you'd be surprised at Publix -- mention an ad and they will match usually. just me, but I hate kroger's general sales and deal more with Ingles and publix as you can buy only 1 of their BOGO and you only pay 1/2 price - no buying 10 of anything I do not want. I digress ..... would love to hear the bang bang shrimp recipe Tonight is leftover from a creamy italian chicken crock pot recipe I made the other day. it is good, just needs a boost in flavor for us. serving with radishes & spinach from the garden with other veggies in a salad. fruit for dessert
  9. Got that message last time but not getting it this time. But then again I haven't logged off of this computer in days -- I leave it running as I have things in progress I don't want disturbed.
  10. Glad to read he is doing better!!
  11. We had pork cutlets the other day with artichoke and capers with a lemon sauce. YUM. Leftovers we made into sandwiches with white barbecue sauce and pickles. YUM. Yours does sound good too!!! What type of noodles, what type of slaw? What is in your marinate? Tonight I'm making Shrimp & Avocado Corn Tortilla Tacos with Spinach & Radishes from the garden made into a great side salad. Maybe dessert with strawberries & blueberries?
  12. It's the mercury retrograde full moon .......

Belated Happy Birthday WIshes! Hope you had a great day!
  15. so is fox news and sports. entire corporation is dedicated to entertainment.
  16. GMA is not news. They say they are morning entertainment. What about the TODAY show - same thing. They interview amongst the candidates too but is entertainment only. And we agree on Megyn. ...... and no, the earth isn't going to fall off of its axis
  17. Same thing, different label Didn't say I watch them either. Maybe I do, maybe I don't. Just said I don't watch FOX which is my choice not to watch. whatever ... didn't say what I watched, just do not watch anything the VERY BLATANTLY SLANTS THEIR STORIES TO SCARE AND LIMITED INFORMATION "NEWS"
  18. ^ this is why I do not ever watch FOX news. It's not news. It is commentary and fluff, slanted. IMHO.
  19. Is any part of your premium subsidized? Just asking. All of my policies, before and now, are through my employer - those that I'm comparing here. I've seen increases in premiums throughout all of my employers for 30 years, just happened to change with this one who I have been with for more than a decade. All that I REALLY see changed was the name of the insurance policy they offer and the slight increase when I visit the same doctors I saw before (same thing with my husband). I see the same things covered as before with a lower premium. I will say that the 1/2 lower cost was 2014, it
  20. Tonight? Smoked Turkey Paninis - Smoked Turkey, Roasted Red Peppers, Pesto & Havarti grilled. Spinach & Radishes from the garden with Red Onions, mushrooms and Green Peppers from the store - made into a salad. Haven't decided on dressing yet. Sliced Strawberries and Blueberries with Chocolate Sauce & Whipped Cream for dessert. YUMMY!
  21. It never went down before Obamacare, why would you think if they got out of it it would go down now? BTW, I've loved Obamacare (yea, I know I am the only one). My premium dropped by 1/2. Still have the same doctors & same drugs - no changes. The deductible went up slightly but still no where near what I had paid with the premium amount and my office visit fee went from $25 to $30 for my annual visit. Made out like a bandit with these changes - saved LOTS of $$$$
  22. not advocating for either side ... but how would staunch conservatives get anything either? No roads or at least no payment or pot holes, no fast food, no retail employees, no fresh food, no gas/heat, no healthcare, no cleaning, mass production of anything, overgrown parks/brush in mediums or parks, ...... takes both sides to make it ... Glad to hear you don't like anyone to "enjoy the basic infrastructure" and are willing to over contribute your share!
  23. News stations were reporting a problem where we are facing crops rotting in the fields again due to lack of workers just a couple of days ago. Can you say "rise in food prices"?
  24. Veracruz style tilapia over angel hair. Fresh lettuce and radishes from the garden with sliced red onions and mushrooms. Sliced peaches for dessert.
