Been doing pickles at least every other day for a bit now ..... and your meals are good, just unique like you! We are going to have a family favorite ...... Broccoli Sharp Cheddar Soup & Turkey Paninis (with pesto, roasted red pepper & havarti -- just a fancy grilled sandwich). YUM!

Never thought to cook it either ... interesting. Anything canned with tomatoes I would agree needs to be cooked .... just what I learned. side note .... I have a fantastic blender salsa we make all the time, more of the resturant style. Keeps well in the frig. We also like a good fresh chopped salsa too. My jalapenos are just coming in with the fresh tomatoes and onions - can't wait! Ours is probably more of a pico-de-gallo than salsa, but still yummy!

I make a little triangle with you both .... and I'm happy to get the rain too! I think the rain gauge says 1/3" at this time ... still dark and drizzling a bit. Hoping the gusts of wind are done as well as the lightning. Um .... unless you have a roof top deck, I don't think you should have an umbrella up there ......... OH MY! Hope all is well!

Been with them for YEARS! (like joined when primestar was taken over by directv 16+ years ago (?)) No problems, got extra sports package and extra movie channels. Lots of channels as basic package if you want to go that route too. Can stream on tablet or phone with no issues. Sounds good! We are having Black Forest Ham Paninis on Texas Toast with Swiss & Chow-Chow, serving a large Greek Salad using our own homegrown cherry tomatoes as the "star". Fresh Cantaloupe for dessert. YUM!

Just FYI .... The food bank up in Dallas last year would take homegrown veggies for distribution. I just contacted them when I had so much and knew even giving to friends and neighbors wasn't going to use up what we had. THEY LOVED THE DONATION!! What are you having tonight for dinner? We are going to have Shrimp Scampi over Angel Hair Pasta with Potato Rolls and Caesar Salad with Mushrooms and lots of pepper. Since it was raining, I did a bit of prep work but didn't change the menu .... Got the salad ready without the last minute dressing to be put on and tossed. Shrimp has been deveined and shelled.
