Interesting and very recent. Makes one wonder if Propeller is hedging bets.

Huh? How did I get dragged into this? My statement was just an opportunity to state what I have stated before and trust me it is personal--nothing political.

Unemployment Numbers About to Go Up With Reduction in Force
audioslave replied to Foxmeister's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The article states they will remain in service until April 1st of next year and will receive separation pay. It looks like every effort is being made to allow for a positive transition into the civilian workforce and/or reserve force service. I guess your title is just a bit misleading to me; nobody is being handed drop-dead walking papers. I agree it is not the ideal situation for ANYONE, however, at least the Army is trying to go about it with some form of dignity. -
Simply put, SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and PRI (Primary Rate Interface) are how telephone service providers and carriers provide access to businesses/individuals for use with a PBX (Private Branch Exchange). A PBX is simply the 'box' that is mounted somewhere on the customer premises that the trunk from the telco is plugged into. A 'trunk' is simply the wires that connect the PBX to the telco CO (Central Office). A CO can be anything from a big building to a box you see on the side of the road (the others are DSLAM's or VRAD's and those are for DSL and video (UVerse)...this is usuall

Spoofing caller ID information is fairly easy. If you are using a SIP trunk it is as easy as typing what you want it to display when you make outbound calls. Methods over PRI are just as easily accomplished. I guess I am confused, or maybe more-so amused, that the Dallas Police are apparently confounded someone can do it. In the h4xor world it is considered amateurish and not something that takes any amount of special technical skill to pull off.

Supreme Court follow up to Hobby Lobby Case

Fascism is much more faceted than that overly simplified dictionary definition. Moreover, fascism is more aligned on the 'right.' To say Obama is the poster child of fascism just doesn't make sense. Take a hard look at his predecessor and you will see someone more in tune with the 'fascist' persuasion. Your point? Tennessee Williams, Faulkner, Hemingway, Poe, and Hunter Thompson (just to name a few) were alcoholics as well. Does that mitigate their literary genius or contributions to classic and modern literature? -

US falls to 11th in quality of Health Care
audioslave replied to CitizenCain's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I read the entire article and the report that it references. Otherwise, I wouldn't have commented. Still, what does obesity and illegitimate children have to do with the quality and performance of the US healthcare system/industry? -

Why in the hell should they factor obesity or illegitimate children when the article and study is about healthcare quality and performance? Neither of which have a zeusn thing to do with healthcare quality. ETA: As for insurance costs, I ask the same: WTF does that have to do with the performance and quality of the healthcare industry? -
I am in no way questioning your decision. However, as a former Special Education teacher, I have to ask: Were you not included in the decision to move her to consultative in her IEP meeting? Please don't take this as me questioning YOU. I have just simply seen teachers pressure parents into decisions (even so far as not to even hold the meetings--they would send IEP's home to be signed).

Ya know, it just seems to reason, for me at least, that if we can't all agree that jets are loud, someone is either deaf, has peanut butter in his/her ears, or is just downright full of sheeze. Otherwise, we are just arguing as to what the definition of 'is,' is.

Specifically what mandates are you talking about? My employer has already ensured they are compliant. We received notice after notice last year to this effect from HR and from my carrier.
