  1. Pubby, It is hard for me to take you serious when you are discussing the morality of airplanes. I am going to go slam my head in the refrigerator now. That is all.
  2. I changed themes and you are correct, fancy blue looks like poo.
  3. I think she is trying to say it looks like sheeze.
  4. Pubby, Are you even reading my posts completely? I have acknowledged what you are saying. I am stil befuzzled.
  5. Heck, I am just glad pubby's estimation is not reality--my twenties were good, however, I wouldn't want to do them again.
  6. Also: Four or Five when that happened? I am 36 dude. Try 14/15. I was in high school then. I remember it well.
  7. Apparently, you grossly misinterpreted my comment--and quite frankly, I could have misinterpreted yours. I was agreeing with you that local proposals should be, just as you said, deliberate. I disagreed with your statement about 'they shouldn't be condemned.' I think you should probably go back and re-read exactly what I quoted from you and what I stated. Your response has be literally staring at my screen trying to figure out what on earth you are talking about (as it relates to what I said).
  8. This very well may be the goofiest sheeze I have heard you say yet. Really? They just don't know any better? Really? They are grown-ass men for crying out loud! Any human being with just a rudimentary understanding of the legislative process knows exactly what you get when you steam roll legislation through with little to no public input: Bad legislation and a pissed off public--and you know the saying--it is much easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission. It the BOC was comprised of infants then your illustration above would make sense, but it isn't. They are grown men-m
  9. Uggh...sorry 'bout that. You should just drive up somewhere, walk in with a bag of frozen peas on your face, and beg for mercy. Kind of makes you wonder why there is no such thing as 'Emergency Dentistry.'
  10. LifeSmiles in New Hope--I can't say enough good things about them.
  11. Lifesmiles in New Hope. Good folks.
  12. You can't go wrong with Samsung. I have several Samsung LED's and have had no issues. Also, if you can wait until April 1st, you will most likely find bargains. Best Buy refreshes all of their televisions with new year models in Q2 (starts April 1st). As for streaming, get yourself a Roku.
  13. Jesus trucking Christ. Did you actually read my posts? First, I haven't demeaned or ridiculed anyone. Second, I am not hiding behind anyone or their service. Third, I was asserting Ms. Smith is full of sheeze and her likening her self afflicted dumb-assery to PTSD and war is a load of sheeze.
  14. To further add: My BIL did almost two years of combat tours as a Marine with a CH-53 squadron. Ms. Smith's PTSD comments are a disgrace to him and others who have seen the horrors of war and live with it everyday of their lives. Shame on you.
  15. To add: Several years ago, I watched a Children's Healthcare of Atlanta helicopter performing some exercises/training for a newly hired pilot. They came to PUJ that day specifically because it was low volume and provided the ideal environment. I think they also purchased fuel that day. THIS IS GENERAL AVIATION. You can't have your cake and eat it too. just sayin.
  16. All airport politics aside: What a shame. For those wanting to keep the airport 'general aviation', this isn't the way to do it. Those aircraft many times re-fuel at the airport--we can kiss that revenue goodbye. Personally, given its quasi-remote location, I think PUJ is a perfect place for these types of exercises. just my 2cents.
  17. I can dig that--I was just unprepared...next time (god forbid) I will be able to get my mind right before making the journey.
  18. You pose an interesting question as to how folks view certain parts of the county--I was just thinking about this very topic to myself the other night. I have lived here my entire life and have always thought of everywhere 'the same.' Now, as a rule, when I was growing up the 'bad' parts were the housing projects in Dallas and the basketball courts in Hiram. Of course, this was just popular conjecture and most likely had more to do with the racial makeup of the areas than anything. I can tell you this much: After my first trip to the Hiram WalMart in several years tonight--it now tops
  19. He is an extraordinary man. I am not so much in shock as I am in awe of the fortitude surepip possesses-he has been dragged through hell and back over the past 7 years. His door is one that I know will always be open if I need him. He and Find something are two of the most selfless and honest people I have ever met-wanting of nothing more than health and happiness for each other and their children.
  20. I have made that type of statement very few times in my life, however, he is much deserving.
  21. If Mike Pope is so much as elected Dog Catcher, I will move. That bastard can rot in hell.
  22. I like the egg donation part, however, as for the Eggs Benedict; I'd rather drink turpentine. Although, now that I think about it, if you prepared it--I might try it. I never thought I would find myself eating chicken hearts until I sat down at your dinner table. Who knows what can happen while dining at your dinner table, eh? :-D
