You know there are nearly 75 abandoned cemeteries in Paulding County alone. There was once a volunteer Commission that maintained these cemeteries or at least attempted to check up on them from time to time. Some cemeteries are easy to access while others take considerable hiking just reach a a small family plot from the 1800's. Interesting stuff here in Paulding. Gem Man 86

I heard the noise too. Not sure what it was but besides a bomb I would think it could have been a transformer or a water heater. Either one can be very loud and destructive particularly the water heater. I hope one of us here can figure out what it was so the mystery can be solved. Gem Man 86

One of the owners or THE owner..not sure... by the name of Dan Riker. I can always remember his name by his last name "Riker" ... #1. Hours? not sure haven't been there since I worked for parks. No matter, I must see the film. The cabin that the old man lives in is at Pickett's Mill. I had a big hand in finishing the rebuild and restoration of that cabin. I am interested in seeing how well it looks on the big screen.. It is an actual 1850's log cabin and it beat out several cabins in the southeast for most authentic. Oh the park staff and I worked hard to represent the mid 1800's the best we could. It looks great if I don't say so myself. Everyone should take a visit to Pickett's Mill and see it for themselves! Sorry everyone... It happened the Saturday after Thanksgiving around 3:00pm.

Saturday after Thanksgiving around 3:00PM a truck and two cars were in an accident at Bil Carruth and Hiram Sudie Road. I heard the accident from my house and then about 45 minutes later a heard the emergency helicopter take off. I determined that they must of had to use the "jaws of life" to remove someone from a vehicle. Does anyone know the details about this accident? People want to know... Hey everyone, I am searching for a WORKING -- 1927 T Model Coupe within a few hours of here. Why? My grandfather turns 80 in November and his very first car was a 1927 T Model Coupe. I have been rattling my head trying to figure out how to make this birthday special and memorable and then it hit me. So if anyone knows of anybody who restores automobiles of that era I would appreciate any information you/they could give me. My hope is that I can find a working 1927 T-Model Coupe and see if they wouldn't mind letting my grandfather at least be passenger for a short r
