Need help solving a husband riddle
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My husband tells people I am the laundry fairy. He puts his dirty clothes in his hamper and in a few days they appear magically clean and folded. I do the laundry around here, but he does the lawn mowing. I hate that. So we have an unwritten rule about this. To answer the OP: Washing the clothes and drying them isn't doing the laundry. It isn't complete until the clothes are folded and put away. I guess he just feels better that they are out of the hamper and clean. IMHO. -
I have some questions about Incorrigible Child laws
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to nschur's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Mr. Dis, you know I have no children so I have no advice for you. Well, I do have on bit of advice. Please try to decide on your course of action soon. I fear he will hurt his sister, mother or you. Even worse he could do something that would cause you to loose your job. I don't think any kid wants to be this bad. It has to be something wrong in his brain. I say that lovingly. You can not allow this to go on any longer in your home with the rest of the family. What if he did do something to harm his sister. I know you couldn't live with that. Please know that you are in my pray -
WOW, this is awesome!!! Will you do work in Cobb County? I need to talk to my Mom about this. She has no basement and gets in her hall closet during bad storms.

Closed roads, power lines down in Paulding
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to LPPT's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I am watching WSB and they had a Deputy reporting that there were about 5 roads closed in Paulding. I didn't catch them all, but I do remember Mt Olivet Road and E. Memorial Drive near Legion Road. -

One way to help our neighbors after the storms

I wish I could take credit, but I have followed the lady in Alabama who did this. She started the FB page because she found a few pictures in her yard. She never knew it would grow into a huge task. There were alot of grateful people who got back old family pictures. -
I worked at the Crossroads Library last week for Advanced voting. I heard 2 things about North Paulding. This is actually confirmed by a lady who lived on Dabbs Bridge next to where there is a area of clearing is being done. It was reported here to possibly be a cell tower being installed. She said it is going to be high tension wires (big cement poles) She said she will have a wonderful view of it forever! Also I was told by someone there that there was going to be a Dollar General store built on 61N right at the entrance to Burnt Hickory Subdivision. If you live in the area, it

Paulding County residents, start looking for important things in your yard that do not belong to you. A lady in Alabama set up a FB page for photos that were scattered up to 100 miles away from the area that the tornado hit last year. She was able to get important documents and photos back to lots of people who were very grateful. So if you find photos and what may look like important paperwork on your property, just hang on to it. Maybe someone will start a FB page here to help folks find family pictures etc. She said that most people would find them along the tree lines in the propert

I was so scared for them when I heard this. Edited to add: Paulding County residents, start looking for important things in your yard that do not belong to you. FYI for the OP: You keep saying you are looking in Dallas. Dallas city limits is pretty small. Most of the subdivisions are outside of Dallas in the county. So I do not know if you are looking in the area of Dallas which includes Hiram, Acworth etc. Hiram will will sort of south of Dallas and Acworth is north of it. So you might want to looking in those areas. Also I don't know where you will be working, but something to think about is that Hiram is close to I-20 and Acworth is close to I-75.....not real close as in in your back yard, but close as in easy access. The city of D

Karen / Sports Source needs our prayers
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to Mrs. Jack Russell's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We have texted back and forth today. She has to stay another night at the hospital. They are doing blood work and if it comes back okay she can go home tomorrow. She was feeling better. Her only complaint was that the hospital didn't have the SPEED channel and she couldn't watch the dual. That's Karen. LOL -

Internet. We always get the yellow pages and recycle the old one. Then we repeat the process without ever looking in the yellow pages. I guess we should skip the step of putting away the newest yellow pages. LOL

NO CRYING KIDS ALLOWED IN ATLANTA RESTAURANT
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If I find that a place has a "Kids Eat Free Day", I stay away from the resturant that day. I think it's awesome that some resturants do this because some families can't afford to eat out and this is a way to do it. I don't mind crying babies as much as I hate older kids who are loud and the parents allow them to continue. Babies cry and sometimes are unconsoleable (sp). Then there are the teen agers like we encounted last night at a resturant we went to. We love the place and we will be back, but OMGosh it was so loud we could not hear our own conversation. There were 25-30 of th -

I will be a pole worker at the Crossroads Library. You will know me if you vote there. I'll be one of two people who kinda look alike. I'm working with my twin sister.
