I have to turn right off Hiram Sudie and people come barreling over that hump from Dville and damn near hit me because I cannot see. I just floor it every time I turn. I would come up from the other side but traffic is a nightmare all the way down 278.

This is very close to my house. Bill Carruth has become a speedway lately. The worst intersection is at Hiram Sudie and Bill Carruth if you are turning left or right off BC. Can't see a damn thing. They should have graded the road different. We have already had several accidents there.

I am so sorry you lost them both so close together. They lived very long lives and were married longer than most people live. It is great that they were together so long and were so close. That rarely happens anymore.

Just to clarify, I am by no means saying that all guys who ride rockets behave this way, but most of the people I see driving a bike like a nut are on a crotch rocket. That's because they are mostly the younger crowd that haven't yet learned they are not immortal. I had a real fast and powerful bike when I was 18 and I rode like an idiot sometimes. It is a wonder I am not dead. I guess that is why it bothers me so much now. When I think of what could have happened to me but for the mercy of God, I worry about these guys and wish someone would wake them up. They may not be as lucky (or blessed)

I won't disagree that some bike riders are idiots. Every time I see a weaving, wheeling popping nut job on a crotch rocket I can't help but think they are giving us all a bad rep. I almost wrote down the tag number of a particular nut I have encountered several times on the way to work.

I had a young girl almost take me out from behind a couple of months ago in Powder Springs. Came right up beside me and almost took my saddlebags off. Funny though. Isn't that exactly what the lefties are saying about the conservatives? Doesn't Pcom shut down threads that are informing the public of shady businesses or less than sanitary resturants? If we have free speech here shouldn't we be able to inform the public when they are being cheated or poisioned? Not if it cuts into profits, right? Isn't that the republican way.

Pcom tends to be much more liberal in the content it allows than some other sites, and I have said that on here before. I don't think that is being critical of Pcom, just making a statement of fact. I don't take exception to the site, but I do on occasion take exception to some people's comments, just as they do mine, I am sure.

I do have one question for Pubby. What is new about the New Paulding.com? Other than a few more software do dads it sure seems pretty much the same to me. Am I missing something? I usually do.
