Bottom line, some idiots decided years ago to turn that flag into a symbol of racist hate and finally now rational people are standing up and saying "No More". Is that so bad? Nobody is trying to deny you your "heritage", but for a lot of people it represents hate, oppression, beatings,and Jim Crowe laws. Have you ever actually read them? I have, and they are awful. Do it in your own yard, tattoo it on your arm, fly the flags from your pickup, or use it for curtains in your house. It just has no place on gov't property.

Yes you do! Nobody is trying to ban that flag, just don't fly it over government buildings that are supposed to represent all the people in that state. If you want to fly it in your front yard - do it!
