It is awkward and uncomfortable when i hear foks talk about happy childhoods and birthday parties they had when they were young. i lived in a fire storm of anger and hate. One time i remember in church the pastor said " God couldn't be everywhere, so he invented Mothers" I cried like a baby so selfessly because I missed that love from a Mother. So sad. But... AND what about the reliablility of the DNA evidence. After all, it was found, collected, stored, analized then tested, resulting in the report... all handled by humans. Now since you are saying this determines the guilt or innocence %100... It seems a little cloudy to me. If you blindly trust the authorities, then you are right. Im not so sure I do. Im not saying they would railroad someone just to close a case... but considering human error as possible (right?) the evidence should be checked and re-checked by both sides. JMO It shouldn't take 23 years though... or even 5.

Actually, I have a sick, sinking feeling about hearing this. I couldn't get this case outta my mind when it happened...AND now it is stuck in there all over again. Imagine what the family has gone thru all these years and today some more. HORRIBLE!

The Innocence Project has proved 42 times that even with the thoroughness of repeated litigation they were still WRONG. So you are right it is a flawed system AND it takes way too long. Gotta be a better way. But then again as long as humans are involved...

I had some fluid in my ears but it cleared up. Then when I woke up Sunday morning I had what looked like a bruise and my eye was sore. We have a puppy so i just shruggeed it off and thought he head butted me. Monday mornin it was more swollen and much sorer. So everybody has their own remedy. I trieed a moist tea bag... a warm white potatoe, hot compresses, cold compresses all in one day. This moring my eye is swollen shut. Went to the doctor which i hate. Two prescriptions and $61 plus the cost of the visit. Its an infection in my eye. So glad i went. end of story. exc

Jimmy Berry (who is representing Ledford the creep) is not a scumbag. Quit the opposite. He is a good man and believes in the system. No one can really grasp this kind of pain and sadness. It is always there in quiet moments hovering right below the surface. It is part of you and it has no cure. East has a top notch program with a top notch Head Coach. Results show it. All this whining and complainin is sour grapes over the player not being coddled and babied. well, if there is NO possible way to id the person unless they themselves come forward, then it is still up to you wether anyone knows who it is or not. she chose to id herself so i think it is OK.
