I don't mean to offend smokers, either. I grew up with a Dad and stepmother who smoked. Luckily now (since we're grown? WTF?) they smoke outside. I know smokers whose clothes, cars, and homes do not reek at all. But I also know smokers whose cars I will not ride in due to the embedded smell of cigarette smoke. And some that smell of it just walking by.

Wow. I missed the mail lady comment. You'd think the trucks were ventilated enough to prevent that. I ordered something on ebay once (a pair of earrings), and the smell of cigarettes nearly knocked me down when i opened the box. Damn. Did she smoke a pack while she packed my order?

I understand that some are offended by such language, but damn. I shouldn't be held responsible for what comes out of my mouth if someone I love is having a seizure or other emergency, and I can't get an answer at 911. And when I finally do...

Oh man, it was bad. And we were just outside of the 90 day loophole when we bought this house in 97. It was a nightmare. We were scammed big time, and it wasn't just the previous owners.

We had quite a bad infestation that was hidden from us by the previous owners, and the guy who signed the termite letter. In our case, it was true.

I was told they are carnivores, and go after the termites.

Pull back some boards or siding where you see the ants. We had a termite/pest control person find them for us when called out here for the ants.

The smell is disgusting, especially when in a restaurant. I would like a no smoking AND no kid section.

Sassy! I think my most prized possessions are ones given to me by my Dad, or things that belonged to my Granddad or Grandmother. I have a single shot .22 "youth" rifle that was my Granddad's, a pair of gold and freshwater pearl earrings that were my Grandmother's (and also some Cloisonne earrings), and my Dad gave me a Colt Python .357 (because of his three children, he knew I was the one who wouldn't sell it), among other guns he's given me. I have a knife that he gave me that was made by his great uncle. Let's see...I think that's it. Wow. Jewelry, guns & knives. ET
