My post has more to do with the attitude toward animals that some have than the choices of the woman in the OP. And no, my diet does not involve any animals dying or being tortured, thank you. It is just not necessary. ETA: I DO deal with feral cats. My answer to that is TNR - trap, neuter, release. I do this out of my own pocket, and continue to feed them and check on their general health. In my opinion, it is NOT a waste of time or money. Ha. Maybe it's because my Dad hates doctors and nothing's been found, but he is still kicking at 65. He even literally grew up in the back yard of Monsanto (maybe he's radioactive! ), and started smoking at around 18. It was ridiculous. I would empty the ash tray after he'd gone to bed, then there would be 4-6 there that he'd have smoked before going to work the next morning. Yikes. And yes, I DO have asthma.
