Anything that's smooth on the bottom will work. We used trash can lids, plastic trash bags and even cardboard in the snow when I was little. The cardboard didn't last too long though. And then there was the time I got a cool silver vinyl coat for Christmas..............it was great, all I had to do was tuck it under me and slide down the hill. Mom wasn't too happy with the seat worn out of it.

There is at least 4 inches here in Yorkville, most snow we've seen since '93. Isn't it supposed to be about 45 tomorrow??

Temp is 31 here in Yorkville, if anybody wants to do a polar bear swim, the pool is icing up because I can't run the pump...........I need someone else to break the ice instead of me this time.

:shok: :blush: It's slippery as crap out there. I will try to keep my distance!! We are wrestling a leak that sprang up yesterday, can't run the pump and the top is freezing again. I promise I won't try to break the ice, pool guy can't get here in this stuff. Argh!!! Anybody want to see if it's cold enough???
