OK, don't feel bad. I think it may be IE vs Firefox. I use IE at work and FF here at home. They were there at work but aren't here on FF. Going to go out of Firefox and back in on IE, I'll let you know. Yep, they are there with IE but not Firefox, that's what I thought. I'm sure Pubby with get it fixed for all of us Firefox users.

I don't think it's going to do much, but the temp dropped 6 degrees in an hour and 1/2. I think the streets are warm enough to keep it from sticking. It's melting as soon as it hits the ground.

Thank goodness we didn't. My mom has no back up heat, I worry so much. She is only two houses down from Ragsdale Elementary so I'm hoping they will never be down long. Can't let those freezers in the schools be down for any amount of time.

I'm not a big seafood eater but I really like crab legs. I found this to substitue white wine in cooking. White wine Sweet or dry wine. Non-alcoholic wine, chicken broth or stock, diluted white wine vinegar or cider vinegar, white grape juice diluted with white wine vinegar, ginger ale, canned mushroom liquid, water. For marinades, substitute 1/4 cup vinegar plus 1 Tbsp sugar plus 1/4 cup water. I would use the vinegar, sugar and water. I think grape juice or ginger ale might be too sweet for scampi.

Nope, nothing secret. Got the recipe for the scampi from food network: The Scampi could have used a little more garlic, I used the minced garlic you get at the grocery store instead of fresh, maybe that's why. Just steamed the Crab Legs I got on sale at Kroger right after the new year, $3.99 per lb. The biscuits were the ones in the package that Bisquick has now, they are soooooo good. Plain old cole slaw with mayo, vinegar, sugar and celery seed. First time I ever made the crab legs, I got a big steamer on sale last year at KMart. They turned out really good.

Shrimp Scampi with linguine, steamed crab legs, slaw and cheese garlic biscuits. Yummy!! Felt like we were at Red Lobster.

My sympathy and heart goes out to this wonderful family. Slim was a great person and a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was an amazing mechanic. You will be missed by so many. God Bless all of you!!

Ryans has their mega breakfast. Then there is always IHop, Waffle House and as a last resort Huddle House :lol: We're staying in and having Shrimp Alfredo and Crab Legs. I do have to run to the store for some crackers and creamer for my coffee.

Let's just say, I have seen numerous multi-car accidents and lots of pictures/videos of cars in the ditches that were filmed "up North". Best advice anyone can give, if you don't have to go out, just stay home. Doesn't matter where you are from.
