I am not a fan of chain salons at all. Most of the stylist are paid minimum wage and their customer's are treated like assembly line parts. They just bang out one haircut after another, and usually get very little tips at those places. Ocassionally you will come across a good stylist at one of those chains...but most of them are undereducated or freshly out of cosmo school with very little experience. I don't like paying an arm and a leg for hair services myself, but I just can't bring myself to go to one of those.

That is right down the road from me. I have seen them advertising and was wondering if they were good. Do you use a specific stylist there?

I've got a great hair stylist that I love, but she is about to go out on maternity leave. The salon I go to is in Douglasville, and while I have used other stylists there, I wasn't as happy with the results as using my stylist. Can anyone recommend a GREAT hair salon/stylist in the Paulding area. Specifically one that is great with color? I'm an ex-stylist, still keep my license...and I must admit, I'm a hair snob and a bit picky. I need somebody that knows what they are doing. Recommendations please?

I'm definitely in the super organized category. However, my husband and children would probably put me in the OCD category. Everything has it's place and drives me insane if it is not where it's supposed to be. I cannot stand a mess or things out of order. I will stop what I am doing if I notice something isn't straight, neat or where it belongs. I find that day to day life is much easier when things are organized. Of course right now, I'm on the verge of needing anxiety meds because we are in the middle of moving and there are boxes everywhere as we have been moving things over the

My family goes to Distinctive Dentistry. I see Dr. Bickford and have since I was 12 years old. But he no longer accepts new pediatric patients, but his partner Dr. Shirley does. Both of my girls see him (And think he is soooo cute ). He's very friendly and does a great job.

I'm a PC native, grew up here. Got married and moved to Carroll County for 10 years. Hated Carroll. Got divorced and couldn't wait to come home to PC. Been back now for about a year and a half and I love being back. PC has changed alot since I moved away but it still feels like home to me.

I'm moving in 2 weeks and chose to get rid of Comcast. I would never have gone with them in the 1st place, but ATT Uverse wasn't offered where I'm currently at and I didnt want satellite. Luckily Uverse is available at the new house. When I went to cancel they told me I would be charged a termination fee (when my contract was over back in May!)...Um NO! Yes yes yes, 100% agreed. In my situation, I had mentally checked out of my marriage a couple of years before it was actually "over". By the time the divorce happened, I never shed a tear. There were no feelings of loss or sadness. I was just ready for it to be officially over. I got remarried almost exactly 2 years after my divorce was finalized. Douglas Women's Center in Lithia Springs off Thornton Rd. Their nurse practioner Lewann Lenfast is amazing. Dr. S delivered both of my babies. Best of all, you don't have to go anywhere else for labwork or ultrasounds. They do it all in their office. Dr. Galloway has been delivering babies for a long time. He delivered my mom when she had me 30 years ago.

Life has just been crazy busy lately; got married in May. Great to be back!

I use them too for the past 5 years. Tullman Eye Group is the best. Far better than the chains. Though I see Dr. Sadaat there. But they are both great!

Hands down, best coffee brewer I've ever invested in! Love that I don't have to make an entire pot of coffee, just pop in a K-cup, select the size I want, press brew...and it less than a minute I've got coffee! My favorite K-cups are the Caribou Coffee..but the Donut Shop brand it good too. I've tried a bunch...Even Foldgers now makes them. I usually buy at Target..but you can find the cups at Kroger, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kohls, and some Publix's.

Personally I'm with you!!! This is a very close friend of mine's daughter. He is a legal adult...and this girl is still a minor! We are just praying for her safe return.

A good friend of mine's daughter goes there. I think she's in 8th grade. She's been there since kindegarten and they love it. They love it so much that they live in Villa Rica and drive her to Trinity everyday!

I was not impressed with Chicago's talent..Nobody stood out.

We had it at a luncheon at work last week. It was pretty good...and I usually only eat pizza from Papa Johns.
