I was driving down the road listening to the radio with my then 5 or 6 year old in the back seat. The new teasers were on the morning show and we heard "Paris Hilton finds God in prison". From the back seat in a very worried tone my son says, "On no!!! this CAN'T be good.... God is in prison!!!!"

I just assumed you did LOL... when my kids were teens I had contacts placed on all windows and doors by my monitoring service and each time they were disengaged or when a child used their personal code to turn the alarm off I was paged with the time and who's code was used. I think they have safety kits at Home Depot or Lowes... My son did the same thing at 4 and even managed to cut a whole in the screen so he could catch a bird.. I was scared to death!!! At least with the professional locks you can open them for cleaning.. a screw will work but can be harder to undo... look on the bright side this will carry you right through the girls' teen years

I had mine done a week ago. It is awesome! I also needed reading glasses 2.75 to be exact. I had the monovision so I no longer need anything! You should look into this!

you can also file child abandonment charges with the prosecutor... this has nothing to do with visiting but support... they are always two separate matters.. anyways, they will pick him up toss him in the pokey and well if he wants out he will make arrangements to catch up and continue to pay . my oldest is 28 youngest is 12 and boy how things change.... My oldest had an appetite beyond belief from day one... the other two also started cereal early but did not eat as much as him... then over a decade later with the 4th all the rules had changed... when I had my older boys it was sin to let them sleep on their back now I have grandchildren and the rules are yet different... anyways, I had something called an Infafeeder with my olders.. it was a saving grace...yest they all started cereal by 4 weeks except the 12 year old.. and, they all turned out totally healthy... like LR said

I have really enjoyed this thread .. He says I am movie illiterate... it annoys him I do not "get into" movies, etc... so sue me It annoys him that I am not a good sleeper.. (trust me, I would love to be a sleeper) it annoys him that I don't find going out to eat fun or recreational.... it annoys him that I am a total gadget person it annoys him that I am always right I know of more but want to leave room for everyone....

my dh his ex wife, daughter and 3 people at work have also recently used Joffe. They are all quite pleased. I am going for my consult in August and hoping I am a candidate as well. I will need the mono vision for sure and don't want to have to were reading glasses any more.. the cost is about 1100 per eye.

I switched to Clear/DirectTV/Home Phone/Hot Spot and saved over a hundred vs. Comcast and IPad monthly access. It is not available everywhere though. I now pay right below 108 a month and I am locked in for 2 yrs. I have more channels and can DVR and playback from every room. I also have showtime, Cinemax and HBO. I love the hooks too.. have been using them since they first appeared on QVC some 9 years ago.. I actually started selling them for a while. I purchased them from the original inventor in CO.
