  1. I am a supporter of Jay McGraw's strategy, on dealing with bullies. The program is having good results in schools that have started the program. Just having a copy of the book below, and using the strategies as best you can helps a community. People have to want to do something about it, however, before anything can be done. But where there's a will there's a way to save some of our children's lives.
  2. It's a painful truth, I know, MA, but the truth, nonetheless!
  3. I don't insult people who don't know any better, Gog! It's the people who knows what they are doing, and lies like a snake catching rats as they come close to his/her domain. I call them predators of the their fellow citizens. They are certainly not helping them. They just go in and eat artery clogging fast food to their hearts content, like drug addicts going to get another fix at the crack house. If a person can't help somebody, don't support their habitual fast food, or crack habit.
  4. I know what you mean, Nxy! And, a parent that goes in M D's and has a big juicy cheese burger, with fries, and a soda pop in front of his children is not a Good influence on his/her children. If the parent eats his juicy meal in front of his/her children, but tells them they can eat there, is also a sad sack of sheeze.
  5. I don't really blame snakes for lying in the grass catching rats, but I don't mind calling them slivery snakes, however! If I remember correctly, jenilyn, they didn't have feet when I was a child. But, that's been a long time ago. I know the latest models have feet.
  6. I also have something from M D's now ant then. I splurge from time to time. But, it's not just myself. I see some people with their kids, in there, too, who looks like the potato head I used to play with. But they also have feet. I think, to myself, I 'm going to let this splurge last me a while.
  7. I don't like Netflix. Redbox has my vote. I have them all around me. I pay no Netflix fee. I get all my movies for $1.00 each. No gas, because I am at the store anyway. I have a blue-ray player, and it plays the $1.00 movies just fine.
  8. LPPT, I thought you were an animal lover.
  9. I like that attitude, Wineguy! I am not disagreeing with PUBBY, because we need all the support we can get, either way. But, I like your idea the best.
  10. That is the way we should all think, c4u! I will certainly do it. I am a whistle blower of the 4th kind. I don't just wait for it to hit me in the face, I look for people who violate our laws, and I like to remain anonymous. I want no recognition, no repercussion, and no reward. It's is easier that way. I do it because I like to do it.
  11. If Go BLUE only knew, ivey! He is so simple minded as to think you are like him. I just can't see you being that simple minded. You have a mind that tells you things I like for you to tell me about. There is real integrity in the words that I have heard you say. The world is a better place for all of us here, simply because you are also one of its inhabitants. Because you are in this world with me, makes me a better person. I take pride in what you say, and I utilize your advise, while I always look for more of it. Thank you for being who you are, ivy! I am proud to be here with
  12. I'm not telling you anything, either, wfal! My hankerings don't tell me what to eat, because that is like what society has instilled in me. I eat what is healthy, and sustains long life. Clogging my arteries with Big Mack's and Cheese Burgers wold not be healthy. I also try to warn my fellow citizens against such encouragement from advertisers. I love my fellow citizen's, and want what's best for them. You do the same, wfal, you just do it in a different manner than I do it in!
  13. Technology is fine, but if it was really, really, great there has been enough technology developed to make us all comfortable without doing anything but to push buttons, wfal! Instead technology has made some of us rich, while the middle class sinks further and further into the despair of homelessness. Good managers have an education in life management. It should be taught along with the use of technology. Life Management Education prepares students to evaluate, coordinate, and function in multiple adult roles of day-to-day living and working throughout the life cycle. Students deve
  14. Thanks, wfal! That would be fine if we could make our own rules, but we can't, because our society already has rules set up for us. What we have to eat in this country is set up by our society. There are societies who's inhabitants lives longer, healthier lives, with less monetary income than we have. Thinking that children are not influenced by advertising, and in turn being able to influence their parents is BS. It's like thinking that is we don't like a job we don't have to work there, but the way our society has things set up that is also BS. Getting an Education is BS, only i
  15. I don't mean to be so straight forward as to create hurt feelings without a motive. I am not a comedian, who just wants laughs, but someone who doesn't mind using a little humor to get the message across. Mickie D's just pulled off a strategy that the industry hopes will generate income. But, my idea of what will be incoming from their efforts is more than just their bottom line. I'm concerned about the bottom line across our children's behinds. Anyone who doesn't like what I have to say, doesn't have to listen. What do I know, anyway?
  16. You and ivy think a lot like I do. Money is paper with print on it. It means little to people with real integrity. Money hungry fools manage to make a lot of money, but their integrity is shot to hell, in a lot of cases. People at peace, in mind, body, and sole, know how to live longer, without stress in their lives. I can't think of anything that causes stress to the extent that money does. People will jump out of high buildings, to their death, because of the stress brought on by money.
  17. When I was a child I would go with grand-maw to slop the hogs. Well I went by Mickey D's just a few days ago, and it brought back old memories. I thought about grand-maw slopping the hogs. It was about lunch time and I couldn't get around in the building, because of the hog slopping that was going on.
  18. WHAT? What Did Ya Do It For; Mickey D's? MONEY WTF do you think? I think that's right, because Mickey D's don't care about whether people eat right or not.
  19. The way to people's heart is a direct path through their mind. If you can convince them that you are their sincere friend they will open up their heart to you. Don't clog the arteries that go to their brain, however! Convincing them that you are their sincere friend may become so difficult as to eliminate a way to reach them.
  20. You can't fool me Mickey D's! I'm still going to eat out of my garden, this summer, and I still have canned goods from last summer to tide me oner through spring.
  21. Yes, Nitro! A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. I don't know who first said that, but it is an old saying that Subby is abiding by. I take it to mean do what you gotta do until you can do better. Society has it set up that way. We cannot make our own rules, because society has already established them. But, Subby, is so right about not cutting off your nose (job) to spite your face (what you see is wrong).
  22. According to The Doctors TV host, "Allegra" is the best. You don't have to have a prescription to get it, anymore!
  23. I didn't find this information is a political forum, LTD! I was consulting Commerce Law!
  24. Later the state of Michigan, along with all the other states, bailed GM out.
