  1. Here's on piece of good news. A top fugitive wanted by U.S. immigration officials on charges that include human trafficking, forced labor, alien smuggling, money laundering, extortion and conspiracy was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Thursday, officials said. Veniamin Gonikman, 55, was detained in Ukraine on Wednesday before being deported to the United States, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Ivan L. Ortiz-Delgado said in a written statement Thursday. Gonikman is accused of forming a company with co-conspirators that facilitated the traffic
  2. Sad, that it's so close to us as to reach out and touch such criminal type behavior. It make me wonder why we hear so much more about drug trafficing than we do about human trafficing. These are just children. It seems to me that doing drugs should be less of an offence to our society than doing children.
  3. I am looking at a new CNN Freedom Project, which may spur many readers and viewers to ask: How can I help? CNN's mission is to create awareness on the topic of modern-day slavery and provide people with information about organizations dedicated to ending it. CNN is working with more than 100 anti-slavery organizations over the course of The CNN Freedom Project, and they also have an in-house team in place to assist readers and viewers with specific questions. They are not accept donations. Their aim is to provide us with a wide range of national and international organizations dedicate
  4. Did Goldman Sachs lie to their customers? Did they sell their customers stuff that they knew was going bust? Were they trust worthy when they said they didn't need regulation, and to trust them to regulate themselves?
  5. Dear John, This letter is to say that you are in the same boat with me, now; MARRIED!
  6. I've been told that I have too many opinions. People tell me that my attitude sucks; your refusal to "kiss arse" will be your downfall. If you ever succeed in having a few friends it will be because they are as ignorant as you are.
  7. I am wondering if I have a tendency to Appeal To The People, or do I tend to Appeal To The Nobler Motive??? "You can't win an argument because even if you win, you lose. You have made your opponent feel inferior. You have hurt his pride. He will resent your triumph. Poem: A man convinced against his will - Is of the same opinion still. Lincoln said, "No man who is resolved to make the most of himself can spare time for personal contention. Still less can he afford to take the consequences, including the [venting] of his temper and the loss of self-control. Yield larger things to which you
  8. I like it, PUBBY! Maybe they will fill the spaces with something more educational to this society. I like Larry The Cable Guy's new show. It's humorous and educational. Laughing while you learn, is a good thing in more ways than one.
  9. The person rarely projects their composite image, and only projects what they feel safe having you know about them. They often do things for a different reason than is apparent by what they have projected. A nonwave-making conformist is not going to project his/her true self image, because he/she doesn't want to be disagreeable. What motivates a person could be to please authority and win approval from others. But, they could be motivated by internal factors such as a sense of a million in life and honest thinking about their own abilities. "He who seeks for applause only from wi
  10. You, probably got some hot pockets, too! I like the kind of hot pockets you fix, Senor !
  11. I've not read this whole thread, and what I am going to say may have already been said. But, it seems there has already been an assault, and battery. The perpetrator is charged with the crime, I presume. Is any of the perp's friends commit a crime then they should be prosecuted. I went through a situation, once, where I did the assaulting, because I was protecting myself. It turn out that I had no right to protect myself in that way. What I do now is gather evidence, take pictures, have as many eye witnesses as possible. Then I allow the other person to threaten me, or hit me. I c
  12. You did use the word anything, and then killed it with the word though, hoohaa! People who think with their hart, more than they do their brain, are my hero's. Some of the brainy type have almost bankrupt the rest of us. I don't know it that's brainy, or just plain selfish, however!
  13. "Self Matters" ~ Phillip C. McGraw
  14. We all ware a social mask. Even if we think we don't; we do. There would be no cultural differences, or any differences in demographics, is we didn't ware our social masks. When there are some of us who tend to get outside of social norms it is confusing. Confusion, and frustration, is not a comfortable situation. But, demographics change, and when they do we had better have some experience in dealing with new situations. Small Example: I can remember when there were no fire ants, nor Japanese beetles, for us to have to deal with. But, now our store shelves have fire aunt killers
  15. Keep up the good work, LPPT impostor. You know what you are doing. You are sickling thit out of me.
  16. Persona, is what it all about, kw! I think the impostor is pretty good as imitating LPPT!
  17. Would you like to have a Yorkshire Terrier? He/she is about two years old. My wife and I are giving some of ours away to good homes like yours would be. They are AKC registered, and full blooded high quality.
  18. They did a good job, LPPT! It fooled me. You are worthy of having an imposture in all kind of situations.
  19. What else do you like to do, LPPT? I like to walk n the beach, at night, because of the bright sun in the day time. Early in the morning when the sun is just coming up over the water. I also like campfires, to break the chill of some nights, while I look in my wife's pretty blue eyes, sitting on the beach with her. I know you have pretty blue eyes, and the extra luxury of the boobies, which my wife used to have.
  20. That is so very right, ivy! Let me also say that "persona" has a lot to do with ones reputation and his/her character. I borrowed this from Wikipedia. "In the study of communication, "persona" is a term given to describe the versions of self that all individuals possess. Behaviours are selected according to the desired impression an individual wishes to create when interacting with other people. Therefore, "persona's" presented to other people vary according to the social environment the person is engaged in, in particular the persona presented before others will differ from the p
  21. I am not as skeptical as many have been. But, when the money is doing the talking I wonder what's in it for me, in the long run. The trickle down economic effect has made me see many jobs go over seas, and many jobs left over here be filled with illegal people.
  22. You know, of course, that birds fly upside down when they fly across Alabama; don't you winston? They probably think it's not worth pooping on.
  23. They must be conservative, to a great degree, Zoo! While it is true that not all conservatives are stupid people it is true that most stupid people are conservative.
  24. I got up this morning and couldn't find my teeth, but I discovered that I had forgotten to put my eyes on. After I felt around the night stand, and found my eyes, I went to the bathroom and my teeth was in there.
  25. Another exactly, cc! Beauty in in the eyes of the beholder. If you are the beholder that's what matters. If it matters to other people, or not, that has no affect on whether it matters to us.
