  1. I am in the 90% of us who have been taken, markdave, but I am trying to do better. I also want my fellow, Talented, Americans not to confuse the ratio of the percentage they have chosen to fit into. Making choices that are good for yourself, and your fellow Talented Americans, does not look like this on a pie chart.
  2. It seems to me that if we are using our talents to feed the bottom lines of 10% of the American's who have talent, we are not taking very good care of out own bottom line and neglecting to use our American talent for ourselves. I say the 10% who have talent enough to create an American pie, that looks like this, is too talented to be an American, and must be building a prosperous China at the expense of their fellow Americans.
  3. The above position is great for 10% of us, but it's not so great for the other 90% of us talented people. Are we using out talents to create a pie chart that don't suit 90% of us?
  4. That is good thinking, and a good way to do it. But, in my opinion, if you are in a field of employ that makes the pie chart look like the one above, and you consider yourself middle classed. it's not very attractive to me. I don't want a slice of any such pie, unless I am in the top 1% of Americans who have talent. Or, at least in the top 10%. I am trying to do better, but I'm struggling to do so. Those top notched talented people are whooping my arse.
  5. I'm not advocating that we take away from our community, by not allowing trad to be a part of our lives. It's the stuff that comes from China, advertisers make their money off of, that needs to be curbed. I'm advocating that we take care of our own. Trade with your closest neighbor; not somebody that you don't know, or somebody that don't know you except for your actions on a paper trail. Understanding is the key to getting out of this hole.
  6. The wealth has been being spread, like it shown on the pie chart, for a long time. It's not something that just started last year or the year before that. It has taken American talent. The talent is what needs spread.
  7. I know that advertisement is a big part of your life. If you are not subjected to somebody's advertisement at ever corner you turn, or at every encounter with media, you are comatose. Advertisers spend billions of $ on attracting your attention. and they also spend billions of $ learning how to do that. It works much like voodoo does, and advertisers know it. They know the people who think they are Sagittarius will be doing X in certain situations. They also know that Scorpio's are likely to do Y, instead of X. It cost advertisers billions to learn all this stuff, and they know a

  9. If we've got talent we should not be in the above position. Are we using our talents to make somebody else rich? I think we should use our talents to take care of our own bottom line, and our own families; not somebody else's.
  10. Just because a person has deep pockets, and city councilman job, does not give him the right to grope a woman who is doing business with him. It's against the law to take the law into your own hands, by the use of battery. Ignorance of the law is evidently on the side of the perpetrator.
  11. Buying on credit, is the problem in this country. In China, if you don't have any income - the bank won't issue a credit card for you. This differs greatly from some American banks.
  12. No, Mrs. O, I am as serious as a heart attack, on this. I appreciate the educators of this World. I don't care who they are. I would hate to think that you would just let a misspelled word go, without politely addressing the person who misspelled it. Why should I be upset with you for being so much like myself; an educator.
  13. I will vote for him if he runs, but it might not be the reason I am portraying. I like Michael Bloomberg, but I know he is not going to run.
  14. Absolutely, sugail! But does that give us a right not to try to do our best? I was born so far back in the woods that it took a lot of Listerine to stop my breath from smelling like pine straw. But, I have a breath that smells more like bleach, now days. Nevertheless, I do everything I can to avoid the status quo, while still loving them as family and friends. When I use the word love in a sentence I am looked at like my name is Oprah Winfrey, by family and friends, but I keep on saying I love them, anyway.
  15. I do apologize to any victims I have ever created, Mrs. O! If I can't do anyone any good, I certainly don't want to do them any harm. I suggest, myself, that if someone feels victimized, by any of my actions, I am willing to serve the time for doing the crime. Thank you, very much, for drawing attention to possible criminal activity, on my part. I am sorry!
  16. Thanks, Mrs. O! I appreciate that. I will go back and change it.
  17. That's why I am considering voting for the Donald, in 2012. He still; thinks Obama was not born in Hawaii. So, he may have been born in China!
  18. Thanks, PUBBY! I think you are right, of course! But, lightening up doesn't cause my family to pay the necessary attention. I have played along all my life, and did the things you have suggested, as for as compromising by taking my own food to a dinner. But, perfection alludes us all. I love my family, as much as I love myself, and even more if the nitty gritty comes into play. I cannot change them, to my way of thinking, but I have seen improvement in their lives, sense I started trying to make a difference. It is not my intent to lighten up, but to be well enough informed to ma
  19. China is a country that believes in not living beyond their means. They came over hear, and helped us build our railroad system, but they also learned some lessons from us while they were here. Because of laws such as the Chinese Exclusion Act, the highly imbalanced male to female ratio, and the thousands of immigrants returning back to China, the Chinese population in the U.S. fell to a lowly 62,000 people in 1920. Nonetheless, the Chinese make up the largest Asian population in the United States today. The thousands of Chinese who went back to China were not the dummies. They were sm
  20. If you ever thought that living beyond your means, with a credit card, was a good idea; you are going to experience the truth about it, in the near future. China used to like to lend us money to buy their goods with, but that scenario is coming to an end. WE have not only hocked our good names, but we have secured home equity lines of credit to purchase Chinese goods with. What results are you expecting to see in the coming years?
  21. Another thing. If you love your family; how can you lie to them? Grown children continue to hug their mother for the bacon fat dripping, mack & cheese, dinners that mad them sick with, when they were children. Their mother would be living 20-30 more years for them to share a good long life with. But, they just continue doing what they have always done. Parents continue to make their grown children sick, even though the doctor has told them they need to stop doing what they have been doing all their life. I know, if a licensed Doctor cannot help them, I can't do much about i
  22. If it sounds like I'm suggesting you gain knowledge, with which to manipulate and control others, you're right. You don't want to make people mad at you, on purpose, but if they are making you sick you need to do something, even if it's not the perfect thing to do. Here's an example: If you learn that your boss suffers from egomania, that makes him/her tell stories about their exploits in high school beauty pageant activities, or football hero situations, than to eat when they are hungry, and further, that he/she loves those who are a good audience, you know at least one way to gain favor
  23. If the people in your life are making you sick, you're going to want to figure out what you are doing to reinforce, elicit, or allow them to continue making you sick. After all, we teach people how to treat us; do we not?
  24. I didn't notice the misspelled word, PP, until you pointed it out. What people earnestly want to say, on P.com, Is read past a misspelled word. It's such a minor thing to notice when someone is speaking from their heart.
