Taking advantage of resources are not bad, until maximizing profit is more important. And, we know maximizing profit has been more important that the most vital resource, of this country (its people), a long time. I've mentioned, before, that we teach people how to treat us. If we act like a doormat people are more than delighted to have a place to wipe their feet. They find wiping their feet rewarding, because if there is any left over BS, on their feet, they can put it on you. In teaching people how not to treat us, we also teach them how to treat us. If we reward people by allowing then to clean the BS off of their feet, and wiping it on us, than they will know where to wipe their feet when the BS gets to thick. Our emotional reaction might be that we actually want to get along with people.

People who know me understand that I love jokes. It's the laugh that counts. People also know that I don't personally attack anyone's character. They know that I am not a racist, even if a redneck joke, or any other color of joke, makes me laugh. When someone tells a joke it is important to not go off half cocked, sometimes all we need to do is know who is telling the joke.
