  1. former member, how to you put up with the foolish responses you get from your postings? Why don't you tell these imbeciles to back off?
  2. I am the most illogical person around these parts, U98, and proud of it. There is no way in hell I would want to appear logical to a bunch of con-serve-a-thieves.
  3. Yeah, mtnn, I can see all the jobs. Isn't all those jobs a sight to behold?
  4. Rich people are used to being cuddled by our society. We have rewarded them, for a long time, by our cuddling attitude toward them. WE have taught them how to treat us. The reward punishment approach to management of our countries affairs is much like the reward punishment approach to raising children in a family atmosphere. People are taught; rich, poor, middle class, kids, adults, men, women, boys, girls, blacks, whites, or whomever, by the same principle of reward punishment. This culture is a mater of ritual, and not a matter of rich-and-well. Cultural behaviors have been delibera
  5. The Federal Government takes money from the States, in much the same way, but not exactly, of course" You can't blame the states for taking Federal bail out money, because they are simply asking for their own money back.
  6. There are a couple of key point in your reply, J t! "They keep their money," number 1, and number 2," once you are rich." Where did they get their money, so to speak. Was it from honest work, or did they know how to get other people's money, and further how to get even more other people to work for them? It seems to me that being hit on was brought onto themselves, by their strategic approach to life management. They were not hardened by other people, they were hardened by their own internal dialog
  7. I am a 66 year old man, 235 lbs, 6'3". I look much like Gene Hackman, but I have hair and my nose is not quiet as big. Nevertheless, I do ware a cap, and sometimes a hat! I like to protect myself from solar exposure when a good hat or cap will be sufficient.
  8. Reality is hitting everybody a littler harder these days. Don't let your kindness hold you back. Sure it's nice to be kind to people, but they may not be returning the favor in an honest way. Their smile, at you, may be from the teeth out, while there is more honest kindness in your smile. Let no SOB trick you into thinking that they are kind, when everything else about them, besides their smile, indicates that they are MEAN people. You may not want to be MEAN enough to make 18% more money based on your MEANNESS, but I'll be damned if you don't need more money than you've been needing
  9. If you want an 18% raise, GET MEAN. That seems to be what it takes. Don't let some SOB tell you that they deserve 18% more money than you do because they are meaner than you are. How can they be that confident about how kind you are?
  10. These are tough times for the outrageously wealthy. Instead of the aspirational Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous exaltation of yesteryear, the popular notion regarding the richest citizens is gearing up to be more like a reality show about spoiled, mean people. First, Berkshire Hathaway's (NYS: BRK.A) (NYS: BRK. Warren Buffett made a high-profile pronouncement in The New York Times: Our society needs to stop "coddling" the wealthy by shielding them from burdens that the middle class has been forced to bear at much greater relative financial sacrifice. Regardless, he's pointing to our
  11. not envy, H h S, PITY! I fill sorry for pillagers, who think work is going around gathering up other people's money.
  12. It was on there, but World News must have changed it. I don't know. Here is another link: http://www.energy-enviro.fi/index.php?PAGE=3&PRINT=yes&ID...
  13. You mean to say they don't match my projections, markdavd! My projections are not necessarily statistics, but they are pretty close to accurate. I haven't been here for 66 years, not having learned how the rich do things around here.
  14. A P.com friend went to the doctor. The doctor told her "you're crazy." So, she told him she wanted a second opinion. He said, "okay, you're ugly too."
  15. I agree, e_s! Is people just minded their own business they wouldn't be minding someone else's business. It's the simple concept that you just mentioned, Sir!
  16. Right, Do you have any proof that one can get rich without gathering other people's money into their account, upon which it becomes their money. But, let me see is I can find the latest statistics on the opening of the Northwest Passage, and I will post them.
  17. Stagnation became a factor, for 90% of us, before the stock market crashed in 2008, LTD! Look how stagnated it was then, for the people in the 90percentile range, and I don't know what it is now. I am hoping it is a little better than that.
  18. I meant to say that it will be on a regular summer time basis, because the temperatures are making it more possible day by day. It is going to be possible sooner than some scientist originally though, within the near future, as a trade rout. Going through the Northwest passage is one thing, but using it as a trade rout is another thing, markdavd!
  19. Taking advantage of resources are not bad, until maximizing profit is more important. And, we know maximizing profit has been more important that the most vital resource, of this country (its people), a long time. If that were not true this chart would not show results it skows: The people fall victim to billions of dollars worth of corporate advertising, because they are not smart enough to keep from using their home equity to buy the products being sold to them. The guicker and easier corporations are able to provide those goods the more people will buy them.
  20. Where is the "+" or "-", I have never noticed.
  21. It will be possible for Corporations to get back and forth to China and India, not very long from now. The rich will be getting even richer, and the poor will be getting even poorer. One might think it is a good things for a new passage way, for shortening trade routs, to open up. But, as we have seen there is nothing to stop the rich from what they do, and the poor from falling prey. Temperatures in the Arctic are rising faster than anywhere else in the World. The passage will be open for longer periods of time as the Arctic ice continues to melt in summer months. Polar bears ar
  22. I've mentioned, before, that we teach people how to treat us. If we act like a doormat people are more than delighted to have a place to wipe their feet. They find wiping their feet rewarding, because if there is any left over BS, on their feet, they can put it on you. In teaching people how not to treat us, we also teach them how to treat us. If we reward people by allowing then to clean the BS off of their feet, and wiping it on us, than they will know where to wipe their feet when the BS gets to thick. Our emotional reaction might be that we actually want to get along with people.
  23. People who know me understand that I love jokes. It's the laugh that counts. People also know that I don't personally attack anyone's character. They know that I am not a racist, even if a redneck joke, or any other color of joke, makes me laugh. When someone tells a joke it is important to not go off half cocked, sometimes all we need to do is know who is telling the joke.
  24. I'm gonna have to stop in just to visit you, one day, tbw! You seem like such a nice person. And, that is not just because I am older than Georgia dirt either.
