You are right, fitc! These people certainly need help, but adding to their habitual behavior by encouragement is exactly the wrong thing to do. You might as well buy a wino a bottle of wine, or a dope addict another hit. If you really want to help them tell them to get their dope somewhere else, that you are not going to contribute to their delinquency. One can only stop a suicide attempt by being there when the suicide is detected.

I think these people, represented by NC, are just plain hysterics. Most of the time none of life's events, even the ordinary ones, are just ordinary. Never allow somebody you work for to have anything to do with your healthcare insurance. It's a serious conflict of interest. Employers already have you by the gonads in so many ways, if you allow them to have ANYTHING to do with your healthcare insurance, you are taking as big a chance as having no insurance at all, IMHO!

If for no other reason to have a camera phone than to catch unsuspecting criminals in the act, it is indeed a good piece of equipment. Criminals don't want you taking their picture, in the act, or any other time. Make sure you are discrete, however, if the police catch you helping them get evidence that might arrest you. The DA likes picture evidence, but the police don't like it, if it's during an arrest. I believe that is the best time to get a good picture for the DA.
