  1. I wish toy the best, in whatever you get into, Subby! I if its a Saxophone you play, you'll be a man at work. http://youtu.be/swQi4CAzmrA
  2. I know another person who has been talking to their self, but for a different reason, somewhat, than I do. My sister's husband died of a heart attack a few months ago. It seems as if her personality, though she is still grieving about her loss, is improving. She is beginning to understand, what has happened in her life, with a little more courage. It's not what I have been telling her that has helped all that much. She hasn't called me, from Texas, near as much as she was calling me only a few days ago. She has been having more conversations with herself. She is probably saying Mike is gon
  3.  I'll bet he was right. My son is grown now. But, he used to go to the bathroom, and sing the Alka Seltzer song, "plop-plop- fizz-fizz, oh what a relief it is."
  4. I hope the economy is recovering from what it was in 2007. In 2007 50% of us had onlt 2.5% of the country's wealth. And the next 40% had only 26% of the wealth. That means 90% of us are poor folks. 28.5% of the wealth for 90% of the people is like 9 people sharing quarter, while i person has a whole dollar. How the hell can 9 people get by on a quarter while just one has a dollar to get by on.
  5. Holly LaBerge takes the place of Stacey Kalberman, who agreed to resign under pressure in June after a dispute over the agency's budget and its investigation into Gov. Nathan Deal's campaign. LaBerge beat out Jerry Presley, a former lobbyist, local government official and consultant, for the position. The commission interviewed the pair at its meeting Friday before meeting in private to choose between the two. In June of this year the top two staffers both of which the commission voted to slash. One staffer's salary was slashed and the others job was slashed. But there was mo
  6. Billy Ray Cyrus's documentary on the History Channel shows how being isolated from the main body of society can affect peoples lives. When the thugs that worked for the railroad cam in to hill billy country they started murdering the good people. Blair mountain was a deadly seen. Just like Gaddafi's thugs, the railroad thugs killed a bunch of people, by cold blooded murder. http://youtu.be/A23S5GXxyKQ I apologize. The battle at Blair Mountain, and the railroad company's thugs, was what I was referring to, but it was not shown.
  7. WALK AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! Walk away from the 97%. Don't speak their language. Don’t use their vocabulary. Don’t use their excuses. WALK AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
  8. If my father had been a hobo, I would have told him to leave me. I might have cried, but my father would have done the best for me. This child may not have been strong enough to tell his father to leave him alone.
  9. I highly recommend Doug, to anyone who needs kitchen or vanity cabinet work. He is a great man. I worked with him years ago, and know he has a lot of experience.
  10. My sentiment exactly, LPPT! Thanks for the post, it's great, and something people can understand.
  11. You just said a lot that I agree with, SOLO, but! There is no need to be so greedy as what one clearly sees, from LPPT's OP, where she talks about percentile. When it gets to the point shown, in the chart below, its becomes bill S***. And I mean BULL S***!
  12. "The time to guard against corruption and tyranny is before they shall have gotten hold of us. It is better to keep the wolf out of the fold, than to trust to drawing his teeth and talons after he shall have entered." "Every man is under the natural duty of contributing to the necessities of the society; and this is all the laws should enforce on him." "I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country." "The selfish spirit of commerce kn
  13. Listening to me is not what what you are about, however! By having an honest conversation, with yourself, there would be more improvement in your life than replying to me. You might discover some things to put on the TOP of your to-do list. If you are a hoodwink admit it, If you are not a hoodwink, stop telling yourself that you are. If you have to start looking in the mirror, while you are talking eye to eye with yourself; do it. ---------------------------------------------------- http://youtu.be/KMB7UoWDXug Walk away from what you see on the pie chart, below. 14. Yes Ke-mo sah-bee! "If you can't be the pine at the top of the hill, Be a shrub in the valley below. The best little scrub in the valley below, Be a bush if you can't be a tree. If you can't be a bush be a bit of the grass, And some highway happier make If you can't be a muskie, then just be a bass, But be the liveiest bass in the Lake! We can't all be captains, we've got to be crew, There's something for all of us here. There's big work to do and lesser to do, And the task we must do is the near. If you can't be a highway then just be a trail, If you can't be the sun, be a st
  15. People will tell you that you are good enough as you are. They are not in the habit of telling you the truth. That would mean they have to stop and listen to a bunch of bull s*** excuses, from you, regarding the reason you are for way you are. They might hear, "doggone it..." You know the rest of what might be said. When things need jacking up in your life, changes need to be made. If you are an average person you do not say to yourself, "I am good enough as I am." The fact may be that you are not good enough as you are. With a reputation like this old SOB has, it's not a good idea t
  16. My Ding-A-Ling used to get me in trouble. http://youtu.be/p490t_6Z9aY
  17. John Stuart Mill has spoken of this, and the Ivy League videos has shown to the public how these things were addressed and how they are rectified by our concerns. But, our corrupt government and "insiders" ignore his genius and vast insight and wisdom! Lust, anger, and greed are all three discussed in the Ivy League videos, because they are all a part of us. Most greedy people will also display lust, when that is what is on their minds. And, greedy people can get very angry, and sometimes even mean. We all know how wicked these three passions are in a person. In religious these are th
  18. That happens to me sometimes, chainsaw! My wife tells me to get the hell out of here, I say, but honey I was just trying to show you my physique.
  19. Emotional people allow criticism to harm them rather than understanding it. If we want to avoid criticism, on a public forum, all we have chose is to say nothing, do nothing, and be nothing. Aristotle put it this way: “Criticism is something we can avoid easily by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing” I say, Stand Up, Speak Out, and Talk Back, even at the expense of getting your feelings hurt. There is some truth in sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never harm me. Don't be so emotional that words tear you up inside, like a cancer can eat at your b
  20. Emotional people don't care much for facts, as long as they feel good about the present time they are in. The more emotional a person the less fact they deal with. Emotions allow people to be habitual rather than abiding by any particular plans, or rules. An emotional person may drink a beer, even though the doctor has told them they should not have beer because they are susceptible to a gout attack due to high uric acid in their blood. There are a lot of examples, but you get my drift. I like my emotions, I enjoy them, but I don't let them run my life.
  21. If it hadn't been for the state prosecution, U98, my daughter would not. Her mother and I have been helping the state gather evidence on our son-in-law, because our daughter want do it. She is upset with us and the state.
  22. Great. LPPT! I see it, also, like you, but with the help of Mill's philosophy. John Stuart Mill promoted economic democracy in the capitalist economy whereby labourers would elect members of management. Mill believed that this was necessary to end what he deemed to be dictatorial management of capitalist firms and to establish liberty and equality in the capitalist economy. Mill's promotion of the right of labourers to elect management has been seen as support for economic corporatism.
