You have a different opinion of yourself than I have of you, NC! I want to give you some love today, because you are a really good person, in my book.

I sometimes have to look at my crystal ball, to keep from making bad decisions. Crystal ball, oh, crystal ball Will my empire rise and fall Like the Roman legions must Ash to ash; dust to dust? Is there something more to life Than to build it for my wife And to give our children more Than their parents had before? Go to work, earn the bread Watch TV, go to bed Sunrise, sunset, year to year Before I know it , winter’s here It’s no scrimmage, no practice game And there’s no martyr’s hall of fame Time, the speedster takes its toll And every day’s my Superbowl.

I remember Dale Carnegie quoting Alfred Adler, and he was so enthused by Mr. Adler's statement that he quoted him twice. "It is the individual who is not interested in his fellow man who has the greatest difficulties in life and provides the greatest injury to others. It is from among such individuals that all human failures spring." People may read scores of erudite tomes on philosophy without coming across a statement more significant for you and for me. I dislike repetition said Mr. Carnegie, but Adler's statement is so rich with meaning that I am going to repeat it in italics: "It

When you say "YES," but inside your heart you wanted to say "NO," you end up following someone else's agenda. You will NOT be working to your priorities, and you will have put your own needs last. People who consistently put their own needs last often have lower self-esteem and confidence. By saying "NO", when you feel like saying "NO," you raise both your self-esteem and your confidence. http://www.m-t-d.co.uk/documents/mtddontsayyes.pdf ------------------------------------------------------------------- Cut down artist's go to work on you, when you say "NO" to them, and

NUDE-IN wants law to regulate nudity in SF
Eddie Bennett replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It sounds to me like some of the same old, same old. I see some of the same people who want small government dictate what government they do want. It seems to always controll someone else besides themselves. I am not one of the people who believe in less government, and I think these people should be made, by law, to not sit on a public stool (any public seat) without protecting other people from second hand sheeze. -
I love it. The plots are wonderful, and I am going to be watching me some Australian TV. Thank you, King Tux!

Everyone understands the need for change in the abstract, but on the day-to-day level people are creatures of habit. Our habitual behavior is easy for control freaks to figure out. Watch how these cutting horses controls a cow. A cutting horse knows what a cow is going to do, and the horse stays one step ahead. http://youtu.be/ba-5h4gzphE I've Got A Little Hillbilly In Me, Folks! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Here's the Dance! There is a reason we are trained to say yes. It's because the very word "NO" will create a situation that will require the wisdom and the patients of angels to transform such a negativity into an affirmative. When I say "NO" I really mean it. I am doing far more than just saying a word with two letters in it. You can see that I don't mind saying "NO." And, you can see the results of not going along with the status quo, around here. Many people want stand up, speak out, and talk back. They know that saying "NO" will cause controversy (a prolonged public dispute, debate, or content

That is just a sales tactic, Jm! Even is they have a receptionist working on phone calls; when you get to the office on your scheduled appointment time, you still have to wait a 1/2 day to see the professional you want to talk to. Money talks, though, and if you have enough of that you can go right in, and want need an appointment.

I had the same problem, and I replaced mine. I also can't get out of the habit of calling it a hot water heater. I learned that from my Georgia friends, we are a bunch of dummies down here. But, I guess you know that, GD!

Zumba classes are free, to anyone on Aetna Medicare. You can go ti any location that provides Zumba classes. I love it, but my foot is broken, and I will have to stay away from Zumba classes for a while. I was just getting started, before I broke my foot with a shovel, at home.

I like it. Songs that come from the singers heart is great. It tells a story like no other way of telling a story can match.

That's the way to do it! One of my daughter will be a well paid plumber next year, and she already make good while going to school. She has been in school for three years. I got my electrical schooling at Carroll Tech, for the most part, and finished it up at Chattahoochee tech, but that was years ago.

Here's the truth. Reagan showed the American people the trickle up he was working on, and the trickle down started the same year, in 1982.

I have often wondered what is the requirements of being poor, and why nobody on P.com is classified as poor. Is it the lack of money that makes a person poor; is it the lack of knowledge; or is it lazitis? Then I think it cannot be lazitis, because some of the laziest people around here gets other people to do everything they want, or need, them to do. What is it then, that makes people poor?

Always remember that pan-handlers do scam a few bucks. But, Gadaffi types will scam hundreds of billions, while going un-noticed by the public eye, until a great depression hits the country. It seems to me that pan-handlers will at least come and ask you for your help. Gadaffi types just weasel around until he has it all.

I have seen many so called "high class" people bite the dust in the last couple years or so. Some are living back home with their parents, and some are now trailer park dwellers. Some of them say that the bank would not work with them to save their home, but it would sell their house to someone else for much less than they were wanting to work out with the bank. I know some of these people, who actually believed they were "high class." They seemed to have it all. But, the bank is the one who wound up with it, and got what money the house would bring, which was way less than they were charg

Going Fishing Helps You UNDERSTAND Reality

Andrew Carnegie offered to wager a hundred dollars that he could get an answer, for a person who had sent several letters with no response. Carnegie said he could get an answer, by return mail, without even asking for it. That person called his bet; so he wrote several chatty letters to some people, and mailed them out. He also casually mentioned in a post scrip that he was enclosing a five dollar bill. He neglected, however, to include any of the money. Back cams replies by return mail thanking Mr. Carnegie for his kind note------Can you finish that sentence yourself? $5.00 was a goo -
Those are beautiful pictures LPPT! I like Halloween, but it is Thanksgiving that makes is even better. Just knowing that Fall brings these two wonderful holidays makes me want to shar my all time favorite poem with ya. once more! "Whether or not one believes in a Supreme Being, the notion that there is nothing to be grateful for outside of the self is, in my professional opinion, the first step down a very slippery slope to nihilism, despair, self-pity, isolation of the self, depression and death. If we have 'nothing to be thankful for' we must by definition not feel grateful for th

Going Fishing Helps You UNDERSTAND Reality

It certainly is not you, fitc! A fool with money, is like Forest Goump says stupid is. "Stupid is as stupid does." -
You know that catching fish requires dangling something like a cricket, or worm, on a hook where a fish can grab it. But, if you are fishing for people it's better to use peaches and cream. I know that you know what I'm talking about. You have to bait the hook to suit the fish. You also know that this ol man does not use the kind of bait, which will catch people by appealing to their appetite. It doesn't matter how much people despise me, because I could write many letters saying I am enclosing a hundred dollar bill, and give some kind of reasoning that I am doing so, but leave the h

25 Year Veteran Of Hall County Sheriff Department

Georgia has a lot of weak-minded numbskull's within its boundaries, which it gives the good ol boy networks around the state, plenty of room to ponder the smooth sounding talk they deliver to the public, out of one side of their mouth, while making deals with their network buddies out of the other side of their mouth. How can Georgia communities be so stupid as to know about the good ol boys, and their deal making, but sit idly by doing nothing. The least we can do, it seems to me, is STAND UP, SPEAK OUT, and TALK BACK.
