  1. It is a great time for bargain hunters, if you've got the money...
  2. Only during an election are the poor and middle class important, then the middle class are marginalized and the poor are forgotten. If the middle class dares to rise up, the racism card will always be played...
  3. This is the road we're on to a service industry economy. Large parts of Europe have already went through this, now it's our turn...
  4. Could you say the same if the US lost 40% of it's population??? Especially if it was YOUR family wiped out with such a callus disregard that you've just shown???
  5. According to Washington State Democrats, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. With a State PollutionTax on, of all things, Bicycles... But this is the more interesting point... Here's the link... http://www.examiner.com/article/wash-state-politician-says-bicycles-bad-for-environment-need-to-be-taxed
  6. OMG... One of the guys bought his 5 year old son... What a scumbag... Unbelievable... :angry2:
  7. These people are full blown idiots!!! It's unreal. This one guy actually had seen the Dateline programs and came anyways...
  8. ...which really should be called "Another low IQ Child Molesting Dumbass Caught On Video To His Family's Embarrassment and Shame". Are these dumbasses really that naive? DO they not realize MSNBC has been using this method for catching Child Molesters for at least the last 10 years??? These guys might as well do us all a favor, go back outside and slit there own throats, and save the American Taxpayers some money and their families the shame...
  9. The big blue tubs they sell at Walmart make a handy hiding place in a pinch, you can clean 'em out later and store them out on the back porch until the surprise company leaves...
  10. Oh I understand reality all too well, thank you very much... In China there are no Corporations, if you understood what is going with China you'd know that. Unlike a fascist state, where there are private corporations doing as the government advises, China's government owns all property, there are no 'private industries'. It all belongs to the government. Any outside investment is also 'owned' by the Chinese government and they can take it anytime they wish. Any profits are made at the leisure of it's government. Private Industry here is owned by that individual, it cannot be arbitra
  11. You don't have a clue what this topic is about, do you???
  12. Uhhh no... :nea: Even the biased media here in the US is no where near the puppet organization it is in China. The media's news reporting and opinion here changes on a whim depending on what political party is in power. In China the same political party is ALWAYS in power and the media is simply another facet of it's government...
  13. The Chinese media is controled by the state. Are you suggesting the US Media is somehow also controled by the state???
  14. It's a business like any other. Walmart faces an onslaught of lawsuits from everyone and their mother, yet can somehow maintain a profit without the need for charging 1000 times the products actual cost, nor do they have to maintain such extensive political lobbist on capitol hill while pushing cash cow vaccines to the government health agencies with dubious claims and alarmist exaggerations. Development may be a superfical issue but the circumstancial evidence suggest nothing more than good ol' profiteering...
  15. Considering the Chinese have been caught by several countries hacking into their government and private sectors. And considering intelligence from the US and other countries has been telling everyone for years that the Chinese government has been sponsoring such activities from Chinese soil, AND considering the Chinese government state run media is reporting this and pretty much says the same thing every time the Chinese get caught hacking, spying, violating human rights, national Territorial sovereignties, etc, etc... This is a story HOW???
  16. The Pharmaceutical Industry is one of the largest and most profitable industries in this country. They currently have the largest political lobbies in Washington DC and payout the largest amount in political contributions. Meds in most other countries do not even come close to the prices we pay here. Why are prescriptions so expensive? Because the Pharmaceutical Industry doesn't want cures, it wants customers...
  17. First, for those who say that "...if a person can't afford to tip, they shouldn't eat out..." I know quite a few restaurant owners who will whole heartedly disagree with you and tell their server they need to find another job if that's their attitude. Of course they want you to get a good tip, but they also want customers. If you screw their customer over, that customer doesn't come back. In some of the restaurants I eat at the tips are pooled and split up at the end of the night, others will make up the difference at the end of the night to equal out to minimum wage, many employers will do
  18. Why wouldn't they be??? Is this some kind of suggestion that something racist is going on with the program???
  19. I see you all the time on facebook. :) I still think that's a great picture of you that you have in your avatar...
  20. That post didn't have anything to do with diabetes. I was responding to Postman's post. The perception that the US is the worlds fattest nation and everybody else is thin and fit and have the healthiest diets on the planet, which I tend to believe is a bit of spin. As far as diabetes goes you could go and read my first post in the topic on the subject and see that, yes, I did take the time to read the article...
  21. I keep hearing that the US is the fattest on the planet, I'm personally beginning to think some of it is spin. I watch news programs from around the world and in many countries that claim to be the longest lived or thinnest (with the exception of Japan and maybe China) there sure seems to be a lot of fat people in the background. One program on Greece I was watching, which at one time proclaimed their diet to be among the best, looked like (as the host of the show put it) "... I thought we were the Kings of Chunkitude" as he observed the populous. Even in France, that vaunted nation of food
