I am sorry she has to go through this. It is very hard watching your baby go through this. go get you a mouth piece kinda like the football players wear. Sleep it in it at night. If you can find a thin one, in the snoring isle, where it in the day. Your teeth are not supposed to touch be a hand full of times in a day. If they touch more than that it can cause tmj. The mouth piece works. I got my flu shot on Nov. 30th. Still no sickness here. Both of my daughters have low immune systems, they received their shots on Oct 7th. My oldest(18yr old) has not had any sickness. My youngest(14yr old)started getting sick on Oct 21st. She is still very sick. We call it the crud, cause you just feel like crud. She has runny noise, cough, sore throat, ears ache and body aches. My daughter did the same thing, except she wanted a naval piercing. I told her "NO", still to this day she still asks and I still say "NO". I told her it could get infected and make her very sick. She is 18.. You are the mom, stand your ground. I always tell my kids, if everyone jumped off a building would you do it too. Just because it is cool now, later she may have regrets. Esp if it leaves a scare on her nose.

Halloween is on Oct 31st. Why do we go through this every year. The kids are even out of school on Nov 1st.. So I don't see what the big deal is. I am sure there will be party's and such on the 29th and 30th. But trick or treating will be on Oct 31st.. December sounds great, but wont it interfere with Christmas and other religious celebrations..
