Anyone else tried calling the Water Authority recently? I have a question about my bill and have now been holding 20 minutes!

We're off Dallas Hwy and heard lots of sirens. Started to think it was the tornado siren before it got close, there were so many.

I agree with you on that. Remember how bird flu was going to be the end of all of us? Then swine flu was the next thing that was going to kill us all...funny how the media blows things up.

I love stories like this! My sister was saying that someone paid for her order at McDonald's the other day and left a note saying "God loves you" for her She has started doing this herself because it brightened her day so much. We were in Buffalo's one evening and had someone pay for our check...the waitress said several people had done that throughout the evening and we kept it going. I'm going to make a point to do random acts of kindness from now on, you never know when you're going to touch someone's life that is really desperate for it.

I could not believe that! I'm sorry but that's just ridiculous! One NP kid was overheard telling the ref "my Dad doesn't even talk to me that way, a Ref certainly won't". Hopefully they've been taken down a few notches. AND the only reason East left the field without shaking hands was because of NORTH'S behavior toward our players AND the ref's the entire game...so take your pride and shove it They will now face other "better" teams like Hiram and, Lord help them, Kell. Yeah, they're just full of class....

That's what I asked him too...he said it was on down from that. I can't picture what house he's referring to. He mentioned a church too and that it was a small house. I guess it's on down from the "yard sale house"...

My husband was heading toward Dallas from Villa Rica and said a house on the left just past the 3 way stop @ Mirror Lake had crime scene tape all around and deputies everywhere.

Thanks for the update - this was a horrible scene.

I just came through there about 30-45 minutes ago and looked like they were loading someone onto the Life Flight....

It looked really bad...Life Flight was waiting at New GA Ballfield. I was heading toward Villa Rica and they were turning traffic away. All I could see was a big truck (18 wheeler) and some other vehicle in the ditch. I was sick at the thought since they were turning traffic around and at the sight of Life Flight.

I wonder the same thing....I worked with her 17 years ago at Paulding Hospital. She used to be the office manager for one of the doctors.

What a neat but sad story. It has got to be hard to lose him after all of these years...he is part of your family. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will hug Molly the wonder dog tight tonight

I was so sad to hear this news today. Doris was a wonderful, sweet and caring person and she will never be forgotten. Our prayers are with Tye, Tyra, Tara, Rhonda & Amy as well as the rest of the family. Rest in peace Doris.

That's what I was thinking - my children are priceless!

How very sad. I will pray for this family. Thank God they have another little one to keep them going - they'll get through this for her.

God bless the Hardemans. Jim and LaRue were a great couple and I know he is lost without her - I understand they would have been married 45 years this month. Prayers for strength to endure. LaRue was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She will be missed. May God comfort and keep you all.
