I don't remember which ones but if it bores me I do tend to forget about it and start on something else. If it doesn't hold my interest I do not see continuing on with it.

And congrats to him for not being happy in the lower ranks and working his way up! That's the whole point, don't settle for the lower jobs because I know management at McDonald's can make for some decent money. Beginning employees do NOT deserve $15 per hour I don't care how hard they work. Sure! If they aren't happy, work harder or move on to a job that appreciates them more and rewards them for it! I know a lot of parents who have their kids miss out on a lot of experiences in life out of fear and often times that affects them way into adulthood. My cousin is a perfect example. She is TERRIFIED to be alone at night and flat out won't do it. if her husband isn't there she goes to stay with her Mom. While I agree you should be cautious in life, I also think you should live life. I know by your posts that you don't care what others think and I'm ok with that. I worked my way up to the level of wealth I am content with and never did I expect someone to arbitrarily double my salary. If I decided I was worth more than my pay, I told them I needed more $$$ or moved on to a new gig to make what I felt I deserved. Income equality.... sheeze....

We were near it Sunday and it didn't look open. Hopefully they will do well.

We had to dump ours too... I figured since it was the HD one they would want it but hey said trash it.

I change tv service providers every few years and generally keep my bill just under $100 a month for Internet and tv. I usually go with the mid level Internet and 150-200 channel packages with no movie channels.

I don't know, I guess it depended on the kid in question and if it posed any danger to my kids. If there was a remote possibility of the latter, I would call the cops. At the least I would tell the parents if they could be in the car with him when he practiced. I honestly don't think I would have a problem with it if he seemed reasonably sane and the parent was in the car. Is the young one doing the supervising? If so, cool....

It was very common in our old hood for the 14 year olds to start experimenting with driving maybe to the pool but the parents were always in the car with them. I never had an issue with that but would if the kid was completely alone.

I have never understood people who get upset at something like the situation where a person has more items than they should.... The ones who huff, puff and stomp their feet are idiots. It's a freakin grocery store line, read a magazine or sumpin during that one minute you are delayed....

My ten year old is mortified to go into the men's restroom so I tend to wait until I see a Mom go in with another small child and wait outside for her... That doesn't give 100% protection but I feel pretty good knowing there is another person in there with their child. But if she ever took longer than I thought she should I would have no problem opening the door and yellin'! And if it was ever a place that I didn't get a good vibe about the place I wouldn't hesitate to take her in the men's restroom against her will.

Stradial is fun too, I can share the limelight... I am busy keeping InLA entertained, someone else has to help tend to the flock....
