Jane Eyre and Pride and Predudice are very similar--The first is more of a mystery; the second is more of a societal commentary. Jekyll and Hyde is very short and a mystery with a touch of fantasy--very gothic in nature. The Hobbit is fantasy. I would suggest she pick based on her interest. Both of the first two have more elements of romance in them, but keep in mind it's late Romantic era/Victorian era romance--not the trashy romance of today.

I love him, too! I always look for the next in the series.
