Due to the outside venue and the forecast of rain the Downtown merchants are moving the yard sale one week to Sept. 26. If you are in Dallas on Saturday most of the stores will be open, please stop in to see us and stop by Taylor's P.A.L.S.'s to check out their yard sale. Next week we will have the yard sale in the morning and the car show in the afternoon and evening.

This group produces over 200 performances per year. The CCOC hires over 80 singers each year and has a major school outreach team to engage more than 30,000 students annually. We are starting a move to bring them to Dallas. They are in the Canton Theater and numerous community theaters in Georgia several times a year and we and they would like to bring their theater for children programs and adult opera to Main Street Dallas.

If you are not into Blue Grass or big out door craft shows, there is the opera this weekend at Oglethorp University in Brookhaven. That's on Peachtree Ind. between Chamblee and Lenox Square My wife is in charge of the costumes as usual and I take the photographs.
