I'm so sorry to hear of another fire. The loss of most items can be replaced at the local store, but the loss of old photos can't be replaced. The damage can look much worse than it really is for the photos in albums and those still in the envelopes from the store. Photos are made of plastic on two sides of thin paper and the last step before drying and cutting for you to take home is a water wash to remove the developing chemicals. ( some new developers use a chemical to save water) The packets of photos in the drawer might be wet from the fire hoses and look burned but many times t

Thanks to the Chamber of Commerce, Sheriff's office, Chairman and County Commissioners, and city officials for your involvement in this event in the community. Dell's singing of the National Anthem and other music was great and very well received. You deserve a grand pat on the back and I don't feel compelled to write a negative letter like I did last year. Wednesday afternoon two ladies involved with the National Wheelchair Bowling Tournament were visiting downtown Dallas. Each store they visited gave them “almost” the same directions to get back to the Paulding Bowling Lanes but they were still a bit confused. They had parked near the Dallas Police Department so when they were leaving they asked one of Dallas's finest for one last clarification of directions. “Follow me” the officer said and he led them to the front door of the lanes. We have a P.com advertiser who has given their place of business over for a week so wheelchair bound people can have their NATIONAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT. The folks at Paulding Bowling Lanes have gone far beyond just accommodating the 80 or so wheelchair patrons this week. Many of the bowlers have driven 500 to 1,000 miles just for this tournament. The bowlers, many with their spouses, have been welcomed into their facility and the staff has has been gracious most helpful to all. We did build the set for young people. Most are 9 months to 5 years old and they are not very tall. I have most times on the books filled in. We are having a great time with the children. Sorry yours have grown up.
