  1. I only got one image -- got there late after the opening goodies.
  2. Here are a few photos from tonight's Herman Cain Show and Rea Party in Cobb County Friday night. Lots of people came to the Tea Party tonight. Many folks brought their signs. Thanks Herman for saying what we are thinking. Happy July 4th 2009.
  3. I will be in the office this afternoon. Call if you wish to take me up on this deal. This is a free session and 2 images of your choice sized for emailing to your loved one. I'll put the email sized images on your thumb drive so you can send them easily on your computer. 770-443-7355
  4. The top deck is one of the best places in town to watch the fireworks.....above the streetlights. I was talking about the mid day heat to park in the shade. I hope all have a great 4th.
  5. Get ready to snap the BIG BOOMS. Any from the fireworks in Hiram last weekend?
  6. Not normally in town, sure we can email a photo to him. Your good for the offer. Is it OK for my Active duty DH to come get a PIC of himself done..He is still overseas and won't get back in this area till next week. Remember those darn CAT B flights laugh.gif I feel bad for him..Bad enough he is starting in the Middle East area and then he has to show up 8 hours before the flight even takes off! What I am offering is a free portrait session and to provide email size images from 2 of your best images. Call me to capture your best image.
  7. If you went to work at 5 or so you could save more money. But, thanks for going home early so others can park close to the square in the evening.
  8. These fireworks pictures were of the show for the 175th birthday of Paulding County in 2007. This is the 175th birthday of Marietta and we expect a BIG SHEOOWWW, as Ed Sullivan would say,ON SATURDAY. Post your best shots in the dark here also.
  9. Come on folks. I know there are a few families in the area who have some family member deployed away from home who would like to be sent an up to date photo of the children, spouse, or family. Sure I am hoping you will buy some extra portraits to help make a living for my wife and me but if you can't pay for extras now I'll still do this fro the person who will receive the portrait. It is them I am doing this for. Here is the deal again.
  10. Sorry, I'm tired and it's late. Lots of computer time after I got home from Dallas tonight. I thought I had posted this before but then it looked like I had not so here it is again.
  11. HAPPY 4TH. Come-on. Show us your best bangs also. ----Careful what you post.
  12. It's so easy to do when you know how to change it or wherever or whatever it is you don' know how to look for something you don't know what to call it--is hiding. Thanks Pubby I want to go to the tea party but I don't yet know if I can make it. If I get there I will be happy to provide some pictures. Nicholas
  13. HAPPY 4TH. Come-on. Show us your best bangs also. ----Careful what you post.
  14. Last year I posted this on the 3rd and not many people saw how easy it i s to get a great parking place in the shade. There is still a lot of traffic with the parade and street party but it's worth it.
  15. It took much longer to get letters and photos back and forth to Viet Nam or anywhere else in the world in past wars. It is special to have the connection via the internet and I am trying to provide something extra ----especially this 4th of July weekend. I will be in the studio this afternoon to take appointments for the rest of the week. 770-443-7355 HAPPY 4TH OF JULY FREEDOM IS NOT FREE BUT WORTH THE PRICE. I thank God every day for allowing me to live in the United States of America and not in the sands of some 3rd world country run by a tin horn dictator!
  16. I know there are families in the area who want to send an updated photograph to one of their family members stationed somewhere else in the world. Here is your chance to make them happy this weekend.
  17. Only for the first 3 levels or so. Then you can put up a net and play tennis----empty decks for 5, 6, and 7. As for the cool car at night, We always walk so we can get back home in 15 minutes walking vs. 30 minutes to over an hour in the car.
  18. I printed this last year. Print this and put it in the car. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! The parking deck has seldom been 50% used in years past. The 7 story parking deck will be open for free parking as always in the evenings and on weekends. It is located on the NE corner of the square. Problem is, you can't get to it easily because all the streets between it and Dallas are shut down for all the street vendors. Easy way to the parking deck from Dallas Hwy. Turn left at the Krystal - you will be going north or east on the 120 loop. Go to the 4th traffic light a
  19. This special is for June 29 through July 3 only. Family or individual portraits. Children only or just the sweetheart. This is a great way to have a professional portrait taken to be sent to your service member where ever they may be.
  20. I have a customer who has a nephew leaving for over seas this week. All our service men and women need our prayers and best wishes as they are away for us. I found this on you tube and thought it might be a good look and listen for most. I don't want to return to the navy but I can appreciate many of these images from a carrier. Not “fun” but a great experience. From 3 doors down --- “When I'm Gone” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GYXm7n62nU
  21. As a photographer of special needs children, I am planning to be there to learn more.
  22. A living initiatives study was done about 3 years ago and now those study results are being addressed in part by the Dallas Historic Review Board (I think that's the title). This brings in people from the state and operating under guidelines from (I think) of the National Forestry Service as to many of the design features that new and updated construction may be suggested to follow. In a very few cases this has been a bother but for most cases the guidelines keep the “look, fabric, make up, feel” of the city scape. I have seen a number of new and updated construction which blends in wit
  23. I have several family members who are serving over seas now as they follow in the footsteps of their fathers, cousins, uncles, and sister. I will add your family to my prayer list for war duty names.
  24. I'm so sorry to hear of another fire. The loss of most items can be replaced at the local store, but the loss of old photos can't be replaced. The damage can look much worse than it really is for the photos in albums and those still in the envelopes from the store. Photos are made of plastic on two sides of thin paper and the last step before drying and cutting for you to take home is a water wash to remove the developing chemicals. ( some new developers use a chemical to save water) The packets of photos in the drawer might be wet from the fire hoses and look burned but many times t
