  10. While I was picking up some doggie food for the furbabies, I saw the infamous Pubby going through the self-checkout at Kroger....... I would tell you what he was buying, but all I can say, he's getting ready to do some serious partying - ROFL! Just kidding, Pubby -- seriously I didn't think he knew how to shop at a grocery store - Go Figure.... Maybe I should have had my grocery list with me, since "Pubby was buying" -- ROFL Again!!
  11. I've got two nephews -- 22 and 20 y.o. (both brothers) Not all young people are cut out for college -- but, doesn't mean they're only able to do low paying jobs. The oldest has / is college material -- and is on schedule to graduate from Georgia Tech in December, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering -- very good GPA, aptitude, etc. The youngest -- smart young man, but not really college material at this time, maybe in a few years. In any case, he has been working for Norfolk Southern Railway for 1 1/2 years now, as a conductor, getting the freight trains / cars ready to go out.

  17. From Winndale, on Cochran Ridge (midway down CR), to Savannah's Lace Subdivision, there was a crew working on a tree, that was across the road -- couldn't get through. I just tried coming through there, about 1/2 hour ago, had to go back down Winndale, and "take the scenic tour" back to Cochran Ridge, to get to Savannah's Lace Subdivision. From what I could tell, they're gonna be there a while -- pretty big tree (or trees)
  18. Give Pate's Appliances a call at 770-445-4617 -- I've used them before, very reasonable.....They're here in Dallas.
