  2. Like I previously mentioned, there's nothing wrong in asking about the income / expenses. Perfectly acceptable to want to know and ask. From reading some of the comments in this topic, it may be easy for someone to feel offended -- I would imagine that no one was trying to be offensive. Typically, after an event, such as the Air Show, it does take some time to get things wrapped up, including an accounting of the income and expenses. I'm in no way defending the organizers or trying to attack them. I'm just saying that, simply based on having worked / been a part of a number of speci
  3. I understand some folks want to know about the income / expenses; how the money was spent; etc., etc. I've no problem with that. It's perfectly understandable. The Air Show was held this past Saturday, October 20th. Today, is Wednesday, October 24th. I've been involved with special events and the like, in the past (not involved with the Air Show).....I'm not taking sides here, but, I do know it takes more than 1, 2, 3, or 4 days, to wrap things up, and to do a complete accounting of the income / expenses; where the money went, who got paid for what, etc. Give the organizers time

A Paulding County grand jury on Monday handed down the indictment charging Paul and Sheila Comer with seven counts of cruelty to children, two counts of false imprisonment and one count of kidnapping. The Comers were arrested last month and accused of abusing 18-year-old Mitch Comer. Remainder of Story Here
  5. People in Paulding, as well as the surrounding area, are definitely looking for things to do locally. Is every single event that's put on, perfect? No. Putting together an event or two, is no easy task, whether it's for 100 people or 10,000 people. Requires a lot of coordination, planning, and getting the details worked out. This was the first time out, for the Air Show -- from "knowing the organizers," I would imagine they are reviewing how things went, and looking for ways to improve, should they do another one and I hope they do. However, for the first time out, I think it'

  23. Hang in there, Glenn and Take One Day at a time..... On a personal note, my mother had a major stroke, a year ago this past August, and my stepfather had a major stroke, this past April..... Yes, it is very trying time, having a loved one in that situation -- though the parties are different, I can so relate to what you're going though. I wish I could give you some words of wisdom, but, keep in mind, the Lord doesn't put on us, any more than we can handle -- take it day by day....your GF and yourself, will make it through. <<<HUGS>>>

The watch was issued due to an area of low pressure approaching the area that is expected to develop severe thunderstorms capable of producing hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. Special caution is made regarding the possibility of isolated tornadoes because should one develop it will likely be wrapped in rain and unable to be seen.
