Looking to change Doctors Anyone use any of these?
WHITEY replied to dagadawgs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Wife uses Dr. Battle and he is great, I use Dr. Sayeed and I like him. -
Halo 2 I see that you have been a member of p.com since 2005, do you recall this video? Now this video is one that is quite pompous in my opinion. I recall the meetings of the previous administration, I also recall, yearly tax increases from the previous administration. (And, your tax records will prove this out) The true fact is the past BOC passed the largest tax increase in the history of Paulding County in either 2006 or 2007, Where were you then??? Today, You and thousands of other Paulding County property owners (most if not all) paid the least amount of tax over the past three y

Stinson has a office on the square next to the P.com office, He is local, And what makes this case ironic, Is he is the city attorney for Dallas and Hiram
-
At this point in time,I prefer that Surepip post first. I will say this much though, Mr Stinson did a outstanding job for surepip,And I was really impressed by his court room demeanor, And his knowledge of the laws of the State of Georgia. Even though Mr. Stinson was grilled by the County attorney, And one other person assisting him, Along with two County employees. Mr Stinson performed above and beyond what I was expecting

Hearing ended a few minutes ago, And to say the least it was quite interesting. I am sure that Surepip will give an update within a hour

Just finished making 11 Quarts of the old fashion Bread and Butter pickles, And 11 Quarts of Tomato Juice, Also made 2 Quarts of Serrano Pepper sauce,And, it is a little hot. Peas coming this week,And probably october beans,But they are easy to freeze.

I am not a resident of Dallas, However, I disagree with both Surepip and Tingler on the tax dollars and what they are being spent on. The beautiful Fountain and trail head Across from the old post office was paid for From the stimulus fund with federal tax dollars. The new park land and and the sidewalk to nowhere is being paid for with local SPLOST dollars, As was the new civic center in downtown Dallas. I believe that the renovation of the movie theatre was also paid for with SPLOST dollars The repaving of business 6 is being paid for by SPLOST and State tax dollars, And possible

I water every other day and miracle gro once per week. I really put a lot's of lime around and into the hole where the tomato is planted. If/when the vines start yellowing up I add a couple handful of lime to the base of the plant and water in really heavy You may want to put miracle gro on the foilage? I had to spray my plants this week with Sevin for the Aphids.

I will be planting some late tomatoes in a couple of weeks and will probably sell some of those at the Dallas market. I love a cucumber salad made with 10% white vinegar diluted at 50% with water, Using onions, cukes, tomatoes, salt and pepper, and chilled in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving
-
All of my neighbors get all the tomatoes that they want. Another neighbor who helps with the garden cans around 150 quarts of tomatoes each year, We also freeze peas, october beans, and corn. The potatoes will be on halves with my neighbor, We may make some pickles this year. We have made Tomato juice with the small tomatoes and it is delicious. Of course we make some pepper sauce with the hot pepper. Most of all My wife cooks up some fried okra, Squash,Peas,Cucumber salad, and vine ripe tomatoes,Pod of hot pepper, along with some old fashion sweet pickles. now........that is whe

I use miracle gro on my pepper, But it still is not doing to good either, It will really start growing in mid June when it stays hot.

Took some pictures of our garden today, And the corn, tomatoes, and squash are really humping. Share some of your garden pictures

Where to locate the information on the widening of Hwy 61?
WHITEY replied to kerstinamber's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The Paulding County DOT has held at least Two Public Meetings on this issue,The most recent one was about three years ago at the Seniors center. The Georgia DOT was present at that meeting also and was taking input from the residents in all areas affected. If memory serves ne HWY 61 was only going to be four laned at that time just a little past Hiram Sudie Road. Rumor are flying around that Vernoy Aiken road and Old Harris Road are being improved to provide the Detour for the bridge construction on HWY 61 ???? The Paulding DOT had maps of the proposed routes -

I had a wonderful day saturday, Spent most of the day out in the sun, Working in my garden. It is amazing how one little seed can produce such a beautiful plant that will soon turn into a mater sandwich.

I really do not understand why this has been drug out so long???? It seems to me that this is a pretty simple issue to resolve, Either let the case be heard in the Courts, Or settle the case out of court. To the BOC stop spending my tax dollars on this law suit!!!!!!

The AJC is reporting that the tax increases proposed by the legislature will not be voted on in this session of the legislature. It is now time to contact your representives and let them know what you did not like about House Bill 388, And ask them to write a tax reform bill that represents the citizens, And not the large Corporations, And special interest groups Story here http://www.ajc.com/news/georgia-politics-elections/tax-reform-effort-dies-905725.html

JJ I will have you in my prayers today, get well soon we miss you.

I agree, when thirty of the sixty eight pages of the tax bill is devoted to the telecommunications industry, And most of the other pages are devoted to Corporation exemptions on fuel and machinery etc. It is very easy to see that the lobbyist won this battle and the tax payers lost. TAX AND SPEND UGH!!!!
-
Animal The end result for me Is that I will be paying more taxes, I wrote all the representives in Paulding County and some have responded and some have not, The answers that I received, For the most part were we need to do this to create jobs. It appears to me that the way to create jobs is to put more money in the consumers pockets not less. Damn the tax and spend Republicans!!!!!
-
Pubby I stand corrected, I meant .07 percent. What really bugs me with this proposed tax increase is the way that it is being proposed; our very own Senator Bill Heath sits on the committee that wrote or approved this new tax language. To put this tax increase into prospective the entire new amended tax bill (387) consists of 68 pages, 30 of those pages are devoted to the telecommunications industry, and in reading the bill a couple of things becomes quite apparent. No Senator could possibly have all the knowledge of the industry that is written into this bill, the giants of the industry
