You know you may be the BEST "GOOD OLE' BOY" the local union has ever retired, BUT you are 100% CLUELESS as to what the County and it's businesses need to move forward and be competitive. In spite of what you believe the County and it's leadership are here to help the business community and if that means the Airport, if that means the Movie Studio, if that means the Business Center than that is WHAT the County should be INVESTING out tax dollars in!!! Other surrounding counties do this and are doing it VERY successfully!

The Business Center itself WILL NOT create many jobs as it will only require minimal staff...it's purpose and design is to SUPPORT existing business as well as offer a venue ANYONE can use for events such as but not limited to...wedding receptions, business expo's, meeting space, in the event of bad weather it could quickly be set up for school functions such as graduations, band events, etc.

FORGET the D*** Hotel...You are the only one promoting this!!! It is UNNEEDED for the Business Center to be successful! The Center will be designed to SUPPORT business!

I have actually wondered the same thing...what the STOP ALL PROGRESS IN PAULDING GROUP doesn't understand is that it will not be small rooms or office space. It needs to have large open areas adaptable to many different design configurations...depending on the function. I would think the movie facility would be laid out like this... Interesting!

"running the county" BUT if you really want to see an egotistical Power grab just look at the Chamber...Carolyn, Shelbia and a handful think the Chamber is their own private company. I did the same thing and I also asked one of the guys working on the site at the old K-Mart and he said it was going to be Olive Garden. The folks at Regions bank also said they were told Olive Garden. Again...Who knows!

As I said we been doing the Powder SPrings LaParrilla since it opened 10+ years ago...BUT we gave Huey Luey a try when it opened and have been going back ever since. We have always been very pleased with the quality, the service (managers always stop by table to check in), menu is priced almost identical to LaParrilla, and I have found serving size to be fine.

I actually agree with you about the sports charters...I never said that someone else did...What I see is a GREAT opportunity for an Airline similar to AIRTRAN (or the ole Valujet if you prefer) that fly's a couple of times a week to different destinations. Yes, if you were to plan to fly out on a given day and back in on a given day it takes planning but most of the hotels give the better rates when you stay 3, 4 or 5 days and if I am going on a vacation trip I am sure to be gone that long at least.
