1.

Kinda like the "Message" the STOP ALL PROGRESS IN PAULDING GROUP keep repeating OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!!! This entire cooked up FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT anti-airport crap is just like someone passing gas in an elevator...Everyone knows it STINKS but no one admits to doing it! Well no one is STUPID and we all know that DELTA has "passed this gas" and left the whole stinking mess for the rest of the Paulding residents to fix!
 2.

Nope...I knew what you were saying / trying to do / whatever BUT I chose to EXPLAIN it a bit for you anyway!
 3.

STRIP JOINTS...MARTA...ATLANTA CRIME...you name it and it's the AIRPORT'S fault...GEEZ!!!
 4.

I keep telling you I am in NO WAY connected to ANYONE in this administration BUT I heard (and its on video) David tell you to call him...All I am suggesting is that you do this...I suggest you contact S.Lang the person who wanted to do the meetings and have him try to set things up...
 5.

Where was it spelled out as to ANY location?
 6.

Well WHATEVER you do...keep this between us, kinda our little SECRET MEETING...if word got out that you said WE were agreeing on ANYTHING the "groupies" would hang YOU up by your "Buster Browns"!!! LOL!
 7.

No matter how hard the man tries to appease you NOTHING is good enough for you. He plainly said in a OPEN MEETING come meet with me and he didn't say by yourself...and I didn't hear him say the other commissioners were not welcome at the meeting. You are now being stubborn, you asked for information, facts and a face to face meet...well we all heard David say CALL ME!!! Why not try doing that...

Not with Commercial flights it hasn't...
 8.

This FAA Environmental Study is a bit different as they originally did one when the Airport was first built, the expansion and new construction does not require a FULL NEW STUDY only a review and update...this CAN be "Fast Tracked"...Stay Tuned!
 9.

and I am sure YOU know that would not meet the requirements for the FAA as far as fire protection for the Airport...
 10.

AGAIN...YOUR GROUP shot down the opportunity to have a moderated style open format meeting, my take is because you couldn't control it...it was going to be neutral. I heard David at the end of the meeting say twice HE HAD OFFERED AND CONTINUES TO OFFER his time and office to meet with you or any group. He said JUST CALL HIM...
 11.

While obviously the FAA approval is key I really think they will "fast track" this approval. The other key is getting the Fire Station up and running A.S.A.P. and without additional cost, the Lawsuit has caused this to be delayed and may cost the County additional $$$$ if the bid has to be resubmitted. I think you are probably within range with your date projection...I would say now somewhere between the Fall of this year and the Spring of next year most of the pieces will be in place and we will all have a good idea of what to expect as far as which Airl
 12.

I think you worded that very well...That almost works BUT in talking with folks over the last few months you would be surprised at how many don't even know WE HAVE AN AIRPORT here in Paulding...we need to have some kind of mailer sent out to EVERY Paulding resident and business owner explaining where the Airport is, what is going on currently, what is being proposed, AND explaining the cost breakdown that Paulding is and could potentially incur.
 13.

He didn't rule one way or the other regarding the LAWSUIT...He ruled the case could be appealed WITHOUT requiring a supersedeas bond. This type bond is NOT required to every appeal in Ga. cases although it does give a "Safety net" to the court. I think he saw what most folks have that the case hedges on the FAA and it's environmental study...that is going to put the end to all this as soon as the FAA signs off on the study. As the FAA already knows the conditions at the Airport and it's surrounding property, impact, etc. the delay is only a formality t
 14.

Nope your Identity was of NO CONCERN to me...the concern was and is if you were a Paulding County resident. I stand by my comment that this is a matter that needs to be settled by the folks who live here, not by individuals or Corporations from outside the County.
 15.

Go back and review ANY of my post and you will not see where I have claimed specific #'s or types of jobs related to the Airport. The Airport as I see it will drive traffic to it from surrounding areas (as I previously posted) who will use the facilities that are there now and that will grow with the Airport. The Airport has to START with something and if that START is from Limited Commercial Recreational flights...GREAT! I have NO PROBLEM with that...Get folks coming to the Airport, have the passenger count grow, have the destinations grow and you coul
 16.

I'm having trouble with things posting properly...I keep getting the brackets and none of the fonts, colors or other features work...
 17.

From a business standpoint I don't know that they do know where it would "top out" but once we get the Airport pass all this FRIVOLOUS LITIGATION they are dealing with they can focus on things like having discussions on #'s of flights and which airline will be the best fit, etc. But I will pose a question to you...Do you not think that DELTA has already done marketing studies for the West Ga area and have a pretty good idea of the potential for the Paulding Airport. That is obviously one of the reasons they are so willing to continue to throw $$$$
 18.

I KNEW when I posted it that one of you would come back with that...that was NOT my point, the point was the Airport will in and of itself create indirect jobs for the immediate surrounding area.
 19.

I'll refer you to the posting I made to "rockster"...that is my stance as I want to be able to observe and post opinions without concern for dealing with "face to face" confrontations. I'll say this yet AGAIN, I have no political connections or ambitions, and NO ties to anyone or anything connected to the County or the Airport. I do as a PAULDING County resident have a HUGE concern and interest in seeing the Airport grow and succeed. My identity, your identity, ANYONE on here's identity is of no concern...I didn't come on here to socialize, I came on h
 20.

OBVIOUSLY the 2 flights per week was announced as a STARTING point...you heard Tommy say the other day 13 (+-) flights per day when you figure takeoffs and landings. I would not expect to see flights going to EVERY destination EVERY day either, some spots would have more flights than others. Don't even start with the "Town Hall" meetings...You and the STOP ALL PROGRESS IN PAULDING GROUP had that opportunity when the poster named Steven Lang (I think that is the correct name and spelling) offered to not only set them up BUT monitor them as a neutral
 21.

"WHITEY"...the PROBLEMS with Clayton County are simply EXTENSION problems that are also the same in DeKalb County...I grew up in South DeKalb so I KNOW first hand. The problems began with 1-20 splitting subdivisions and then 1-285 being built in the early 70's...then as the kids of parents who had built and lived in South DeKalb, East Point, moved away so did the parents getting away from the crime and problems associated with the City of Atlanta. You saw the decline in shopping in Downtown Atlanta and the institutions we all loved closed...Rich's, Davis
 22.

"Rockster"...I have PERSONALLY kept myself away from knowing who most of the posters on here are, I did this in order NOT to be swayed by how I might feel about an individual, neighbor, business associate, etc. I managed to have a insight into a bit of BOTH sides of this issue and this has helped me make my decisions regarding the Airport. I am NOT who many seem to think I am and I have NO affiliation with ANY County office, politician, or the Chamber, the BOC, the IBA or the AA. I am simply a fairly long time resident haveing moved to Paulding in
 23.

AGAIN! Here you go...2004 this and 2005 that...GET OVER IT!!! This is 2014 and the Airport is ALREADY BUILT... At this point EVERYONE understands and knows that originally it was a General Aviation Airport, that way back then it was said it would ONLY be General Aviation BUT time change, opportunities change and you HAVE TO LEARN TO ADAPT! Paulding now has the opportunity to CREATE a secondary source for West Ga to use for LIMITED RECREATIONAL FLIGHTS and this HAS to be taken advantage of. The quicker we all get on board with this and work W
