  1. You take faith in what DVP said?! Huh? He didn't even say anything, he posted a link that spun the story in a racial direction and asked these questions... "What do you think? Do you agree with the NMPD stance on this matter? Should mugshots be used for target practice? Is this racially insensitive or worse?" What exactly did he say that you take faith in and that if he is wrong, you would be wrong?
  2. TP, do you actually READ multiple articles about something and form an opinion, or you just read one and call it fact? Go back to my previous posts and read the links I provided please. "Their target, a row of black men, which the snipers left behind at the stand, was one of many. There are also groups of white males, Hispanic males and white women." The crap you spew is more likely to fuel a riot than the actual issue at hand. No, North Miami cops are not shooting at black male targets only, geezus. And here's another that doesn't actually spin it into a racial issue like som
  3. Bwahahaha... and FoxNews conveniently left that info out as well, too funny how two major news websites paint two different pictures. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/01/16/miami-police-reportedly-used-mugshots-black-suspects-for-target-practice/
  4. The supposed reason why this is a story in the first place (a guardsman recognized one of the mugshots as being her brother when she went to the same range that the snipers had just used)... http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/16/us/florida-black-male-sniper-targets/index.html The two snipers using the targets, one was hispanic and the other was black. "Their target, a row of black men, which the snipers left behind at the stand, was one of many. There are also groups of white males, Hispanic males and white women." And yet another example (that the OP posted) of media leaving certain in
  5. Where did you hear that? The news alert says 7400 block of Ridge, that would be down between Denton Rd and Austin Middle School... http://www.ajc.com/news/news/sheriffs-office-multiple-bodies-found-in-paulding-/njhFn/ AJC has a photo of location
  6. I find some of these to be very naïve questions this day and age, I don't mean in it a insulting way in the least. There are children walking the streets unsupervised up to no good all around the country... gang bangers, criminals, delinquents, etc. Heck, I'm sure there are children younger than this 12 year-old in this case that are doing the same. And if you remember these recent cases, its a lot closer to home than you think. 14 year-old, double murder, Powder Springs http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/story/24994771/teen-charged-in-powder-springs-double-murder 14 year-old, murder
  7. I'm waiting for the department's press release on this one before I make a judgment, only because it made zero sense to me after watching the video and listening to the 911 call why they drove up as fast as they did and as close as they did in responding to a call about someone with a gun. All you see is the patrol unit coming out of no where to the pavilion. It could be one extreme to the other as reason, either 1.) they were lost trying to find the incident location and happened to stumble right on him, or 2.) they knew he was there and decided to respond that way. If that was the decide
  8. What a joke the system is that allows this dude to have contact visits in the first place.
  9. Hahaha... I had a good laugh at the irony of Pubby calling the police to check on TP. Did you get down from the ladder and show them any anti-police vids and links before they left?!

  11. http://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2014/10/12/ebola/z3DybKoXBg0XjPO6m5yVgK/story.html "Boston patient deemed unlikely to have Ebola virus" As quickly as they tested and received results for the scare at the Cobb Jail, I think its safe to say the fella in Braintree tested negative and doesn't have it.
  12. Um, no. Your initial insulting post (#12) in this thread contradicts that statement. Nice try tho!
  13. True, it wasn't bad at all... however, two things... 1.) He wants any attention he can get at this point, and at this point he'll take negative because he know he can't get positive. The fact that he would blanket statement stereotype me as "to lazy to work a real job", and that I've only been in law enforcement for 18+ years because I "like to take out their frustrations on innocent people when they can't find someone who looks like a criminal." is about as ignorant stereotyping as you can get. 2.) The mods have a glorious reputation of closing threads like this as they spin it into
  14. Post edit: Nevermind, I forgot not to feed the troll.
  15. I love the irony of touting free speech, yet closing threads. Yup, makes perfect sense, as usual!
  16. "I work hard to find the truth before I ever post it" I don't know if you just wrote that intending to be funny or not, however... thank you for the laugh!
  17. I saw the building for sale on a real estate site two weeks ago, it said the current owner was retiring. Edit: Here it is.... http://www.homefinder.com/GA/Hiram/6129-Ridge-Rd-110489185d
  18. lmao @ the postman posting a video taken in freakin rotterdam to prove his point that police shoot warning shots! Try again, pal! This is the United States, warning shots are not authorized ANYWHERE. Once again, the usual suspects on this website (i.e. pubby, postman, etc) can't wait for the actual facts of the case... hey hmmm, how about waiting for forensic results like maybe, hmm... if Brown's DNA on the officer's holster/weapon or not?! Ummm, maybe waiting to see, I don't know... maybe there turns out to be gun powder residue insider the police cruiser indicating a shot was fired i
  19. Not to be a jerk, but I really wish some of you would get a clue about how the process works. The arresting agency goes to the Magistrate Judge to take out a warrant (in this case Felony Murder and Cruelty To Children). The arresting agency presents the probable cause to the Magistrate Judge and the Magistrate Judge approves the warrant if he agrees there is probable cause for the charges. Those of you bashing the D.A. are out of line, it hasn't even made it to his office yet.
  20. Just curious... have you noticed a dip in numbers in terms of site traffic since the forum upgrade? I have a heckuva time trying to get on this forum now since the upgrade and I cannot be the only one. It has nothing to do with clearing cache or cookies, I've done all that and still I get constant "Forbidden You don't have permission to access /forum/index.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." error on my home and work computers using Firefox and IE. If anyone else has the same issues, feel
  21. Electronically filed on 2/20, I received both federal and state refunds direct deposit on 2/27... very quick this year.
  22. <br /><br /><br /> No Pubby, please don't use the word "residency" in this case, as its a slap in the face the actual residents who came in the country legally, as they should have, after having waited (or still waiting on visa while their petition is pending) in line for the actual approved process and paid a whole helluva lot more than these "Deferred Action" people ever will. The Deferred Action folks (illegals) went down to their local USCIS office, filled out a form, had their fingerprints and photo taken, paid approximately $600... and then received a two-year
  23. Same problem here with the black box!
  24. <br /><br /><br /> There were so many "trying to be funny" answers that I lost track. (Wow the formatting on this forum is getting bad. You write a post using spaces and paragraphs, but when you post it just jumbles it all up into one.)
  25. Last week's thread on it...http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/308070-old-k-mart-building/page__pid__3888672#entry3888672(The board won't let me use "Insert Link" option)
