  1. You seem to have a selective sense of shared responsibility.
  2. A formal complaint has been filed against her with the JQC. The only problem is she currently heads the JQC. The JQC is already overworked, understaffed, underfunded and unmotivated. Chief Judge Weaver huh... Kind of rhymes with Chief Judge Beavers.
  3. I think 4th and 5th cousins are safe but to be sure, let's ask the Lannisters...
  4. Another tragic shooting. High conflict custody hearings usually occur at or near the end of the day. It's reported that this was a custody hearing and subsequent shooting occurred before 6pm. I've just said this a few days ago and I'm going to say it again, far too often, legal professionals fuel conflict pitting parents against each other creating adversarial divorces for their own financial gain. Then when tragedy strikes the legal professionals walk away as if they don't have blood on their hands. This has to stop and I will continue to advocate against the "cash for conflict" court cul
  5. I've been to Douglas County and Paulding County Wellstars. My daughter received awful care at Paulding Wellstar during her pregnancy and Douglas County billed me $360+ and I had left because I never made it to triage after waiting 3 hours. They sent me that bill after telling me I didn't owe anything. They thought I didn't have insurance because I didn't have my card at the time. I sent the bill to my BCBSGA and never heard a word about the bill again.
  6. Here in lies the problem with today's society? A lack of compassion and empathy? When the day comes that your life is on the line, I'd love to know if you walk the talk. I followed Surepip's recovery here on PCom. I don't know him and I've never met him but I'm glad he is still here. The world is a better place because of it.
  7. Frequently protective orders are sought by one party to gain the upper hand in a child custody or divorce. Or they can be used as a gag order to silence the irrefutable truth from being spoken. If what is being said is true, a defamation suit is not an unfrivolous option, so some people turn to a protective order to gag the person speaking the truth. A frivolous defamation suit can still be pursued in an attempt to bankrupt an individual whether their statements are true or not, if I understand correctly what I've been told. I would assume the aid of a dishonest judge would be required for su
  8. Like it or not- local/national, this is current events. I'm sure many of you shared the same sympathies for Trayvon Martin's family when he was killed. Others of you justified his death because of past teenage bad behavior and said justified or not, good riddance. I don't know if the allegations of this mom's behaviors are true but they certainly didn't warrant her life being lost. We have a broken system of justice and we need to study the circumstances to prevent future tragedies. The game doesn't change, only the players. You get it, you don't get it, it makes no difference to me. But truth
  9. Surprise...surprise... Chief Judge Tonny S. Beavers was presiding... Another divorce where one of the parents was complaining about custodial interference and or parental alienation? How frequently does this have to happen #onbeaverswatch before a pattern of incompetence is established?
  10. Thank you for asking, ivylove. I can write a book on what should be done in reply but I’ll do my best to condense my answer. There are many more examples but for starters, we must take steps to remove the adversarial nature of divorce and custody proceedings by among other things: 1) Remove tactics of pathogenic parenting. Courts require parents to attend a parenting class as little more than a formality. After the class, poor parenting practices continue and are unaddressed by the court beyond the parenting class. 2) Judges should have to undergo continuing education cou
  11. No matter how psychologically sound you may be, everyone has a breaking point. Some have shorter fuses than others but everyone has a fuse. I have a fairly decent understanding of mental illness through study and first hand observation. So no, I don't minimalize it. You are treating this as an isolated incident. From research and observation these tragedies occur in some form or another dozens of times daily but it seems nothing is being done to correct the contributing factors to reduce the occurrences. I think our system of justice is in desperate need of reform and therefore it is on t
  12. I think you are over simplifying the matter. In cases like this, frequently a culture of courtroom corruption pours fuel on an already volatile situation and ripens it for combustion. This isn't some isolated incident. Dozens of lives are being lost daily, and we must take measures to understand why to prevent future tragedies. It is absolutely vital that we begin to fully understand why. We must ensure that our system of "justice" is not a contributing factor. The only way to do that is to ask tough questions. Assuming the allegations of "custodial interference" are true, if the other par
  13. If the allegations in the petition are true, and the mother was having an affair in the presence of the children, there may have been enough problems and blame to go around. If it were the father that had conducted himself similarly to the allegations being made, and he was subsequently killed by his mother-in-law, would the father's behavior be called into question as a contributing factor to his own death? Would you have a similar assessment of what the father had possibly been put through?
  14. When people are brought to their psychological breaking point, they are not thinking rationally. They are not in their right mind. If this grandmother was completely out of character, I think it is important to discern the underlying causes.
  15. What has happened is tragic and I regret a life was lost. It is one of many reasons why I advocate strongly against pathogenic parenting. No one wants to hear about it before tragedy strikes and no one wants to hear about it afterwards so the problem goes unresolved. Despite this people want to act shocked when events reach their breaking point. We all know many people have a different public persona than private. We don't know what happened behind closed doors so we can't be quick to judge. If allegations of custodial interference and parental alienation brought this grandmother to her b
  16. Yeah? So what? Tonny S. Beavers was appointed by Gov. Roy Barnes (D) in 2002.
  17. Yeah it sounds a lot like you complaining about liberals, Democrats, Obama and Hillary. You can't have it both ways. you can't say all Dems appoint bad judges and then make Beavers the exception.
  18. Imagine if the shoe were on the other foot, and a black football player raped a white special needs teen. Those same town's folk would be carrying pitch forks and torches to burn the first black kid they found (guilty or not) at the stake as has been done in the past.
  19. I beg to differ. I would go so far as to say the rapist is conservative and so is his father. Being a appointed by a Democrat doesn't necessarily make you liberal. Chief Judge Tonny S. Beavers was appointed by Democratic Governor Roy Barnes yet Paulding County keeps electing him. Many of you align yourselves with Beavers.
  20. Reflecting on some of the cases observed in which Chief Judge Tonny S. Beavers presided, an observer may be compelled to question his family values (and ethics, but that is for another topic). For example, after being informed that a parent had upwards of eight ( known overnight master bedroom guests (and however many unknown) in front of the children in less than two years, Tonny Beavers was of the opinion that parent had a right to find a significant other just as the children’s other parent had. Yes the parent has the right to find happiness, but is the parent going about it in a manne

  22. Is a clear pattern of collusion by a judge, racketeering? If Judge Green doesn't take criminal matters seriously enough to avoid the appearance of impropriety, what do you think his attitude is in civil matters? Should Judge Green be voted out of office on May 24th, the subject of a criminal investigation or both? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckiojJD9CAM
  23. #OnBeaversWatch today is the case about the 9 yr old girl that has been kept from her mother on supervised visitation for over a year. Then Judge Beavers cut off all visitation between mother and child. Was he justified in doing so? The matter will be heard today, probably after 1:30 if it is not the last case of the day. Has Judge Beavers' employed passive-aggressive inaction allowing a mom's relationship with her 9 yr old daughter to be severed? See the mind of Beavers' in action and decide for yourself.
  24. When corruption of any sort is overlooked for a long time it eventually becomes routine. It is normalization of the abnormal and abominable. Where does it stop? What does it teach children who witness it? It is okay to cheat because if you play by the rules you will never win?
