I have sat in literally several dozen of his hearings, have you? Have you ever seen Judge Beavers ignore case law stating he has broad discretion and almost in the same breath say there was nothing he could do because he was bound by the Georgia Supreme Court's decision?     Can it be said that anyone who doesn't do everything in their power to bring relief to abused children is complicit in that abuse? Especially, when those persons are dismissive of troubling conduct without any basis in fact?

    I'm glad you had a good experience. When you suspect what has happened to your child, has happened to other children, you take the time to investigate further. I have done so using my leisure time and my vacation time. I have posted here in regards to many troubling rulings and questionable conduct involving cases in which I had no personal interest other than to observe and report.     Judge Beavers is a public official. People make personal attacks against national public officials that are not here to defend themselves all of the time. The difference is Beavers will not defend himself though I have no doubt that he is aware of my very public comments about his very troubling and, at times, hypocritical use of law. Or can it be said he would not defend himself under light of day and public scrutiny?     I can only wonder what the school was like in the mid 70s when Paulding County's own Tonny Beavers graduated from this school. What was the make up of the faculty and staff then? The school ranked in the top ten worst law schools in the country not too long ago and only gained ABA accreditation around 2009. From doing research myself, I have yet to find where Beavers has made a minority hire in his career as a judge or practicing law. The ratio of qualified applicants seems to suggest he has had ample opportunity. His competence may be questionable to some but that doesn't make Tonny Beavers

    Thanks Pubby. You have a firm grasp of this topic. The good and the bad. You are correct when you say many do not care but we must remain vigilant for those who think they are alone. The ones that think no one understands. Because if we don't they will be lost. As many as 21 people daily succumb to grief due to this form of child exploitation. Critics say that you need to hear both sides of the story. I can assure you when I tell someone's story, it is objective and unbiased. I error on the side of caution NOT sensationalism.     This is an update from a case I tried to discuss earlier this year. So long story short, I told you so. Last February, Judge Beavers continued inaction left a young girl in the care of a seemingly emotionally abusive and at times negligent father. The mother had to endure a year or more of supervised visits and complete obstruction of any parenting time at all, while the 11 year old girl (9 when it started) was suffering emotional and psychological abuse.     Unless you consider all of the people rotting in jail cells and prisons with exorbitant sentences for smoking the stuff. Non-violent offenders, many of whom at worst were only harming themselves. They often get longer sentences than DUI/DWI offenders.

    Legalize it and tax it. THC doesn't make you angry, aggressive or violent. It does the opposite. Make alcohol illegal. Coffee and cigarettes are probably a bigger threat.

    I get your point and in normal situations I discuss differences with people in person. I don't think it's legally proper to do so in this instance. I certainly wouldn't speak to him without the presence of witnesses for my own safety. I'm not the only one who feels this way.     I'm fairly certain there are those that will say she should immediately comply with a lawful order. That would assume that the 84 year old was able to comply. I don't think just any frail 84 year old woman would be sprayed and cuffed. What if it caused her to go into cardiac arrest and she died?
