  1. You're confusing depression with one of your monday morning rashies.
  2. I'm off to Costco, they sell it in bulk. I've had my eye on the 5 gal size. All this rain has me very depressed.
  3. The commercial that makes husbands look like movie stars after a bite of yogurt may actually have some scientific basis to them. Are Probiotics the New Prozac? Probiotics, the healthy bacteria in yogurt and certain fermented foods, may be mind-altering microbes that could be used to help treat depression and anxiety, according to cutting-edge new research. A psychology researcher at University of Canterbury in New Zealand is so enthusiastic about the potential of probiotics to improve mood that she has launched a new study in which 80 patients with depression will receive probiotic
  4. This is why in the past most of Walmart's were built in small towns just outside city limits. There it was much easier to drive small businesses out of business, and corrupt the local officials into helping them acquire cheap land for pennies on the dollar through Eminent Domain.
  5. Subby's about to become a Rock n' Roll star. NC17's band is cutting a new album. Paulding is on the verge of becoming a musical empire so ...... Besides Chastain has it's concerts in the Park. Forsyth has it's Livestock auction and pork roundup. Atlanta and Cobb have their Civic Center, would a little class kill Paulding county ?
  6. Name calling, Like what ? And when are these government freebies going to start arriving? I'm getting all giddy with excitement !
  7. In all fairness to Walmart they have done a great job at helping to create a middle class in China.
  8. Walmart rolls into town and puts every Mom and Pop shop out of business then offers the survivors a wage that automatically qualifies them for government assistance. Let them hit the road.
  9. Actually it's the other way around. The evil, rich corporate bastards have taken over the government.
  10. The number one company in the warehouse club business is Costco with Sams Club coming in a dismal number two. Costco pays it's employees a good salary, great benefits and has half the turnover as Walmart. And Costco is doing very well thank you.
  11. One Walmart's Low Wages Could Cost Taxpayers $900,000 Per Year Walmart wages are so low that many of its workers rely on food stamps and other government aid programs to fulfill their basic needs, a reality that could cost taxpayers as much as $900,000 at just one Walmart Supercenter..... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/31/walmart-taxpayers-house-report_n_3365814.html
  12. Well if it's on the internet it must be true. But really the "Red State".
  13. I'm counting on it, in fact my entire retirement plan is depending on it. * Except for the drug use, I can't afford any decent drugs.
  14. In all fairness I'm single and shortly after I moved out here a needy coworker weaseled me into letting him move in for a few months. Neighbors probably figured they had a couple of gay men living in the hood. I blame that mostly on the co worker's questionable habits. * You always did have a rather narcissistic opinion of yourself.
  15. Hey don't feel like the Lone Ranger I moved here 20 years ago, not one single neighbor ever bothered to come over to introduce themselves. It took 15 years before the nice lady next door came by and said hello. But things are looking up I know 2 people that live in the subdivision now !
  16. Looks like you pretty much backed up Nebgirl's comment.
  17. I would be surprised if ANY Politician would vote for it. Too much power wrapped up in jerry-rigging the tax code. They aren't about to give up their bread and butter in getting themselves re-elected. * And what about retired people struggling to get by on their life's savings, savings that they paid taxes on. Now you're asking them to pay 20% sales tax on top of that ? Maybe a good deal if you are still working and collecting a paycheck not so much if you're living on a fixed income.
  18. I still recall the pictures of vegetables rotting on the ground in south Ga. a couple of summers ago. Farmers were offering 10 dollars an hour with no takers. In America we enjoy the lowest food prices in the industrialized world. If the obstructionist in washington don't start working to reform our broken immigration policy we can add food to the high price of fuel, medications and medical care. On the bright side we will have ourselves a lovely fence stretching across the Rio Grande .
  19. Or to make you think you're getting more than you really are, like the air they pump into those half full bags of chips.
  20. I had an ear infection that lasted about 3 weeks fortunately they cleared up after 2 rounds of antibiotics. What surprised me was within a week I found myself pronouncing words as if I had been death all my life.
  21. A quick slap on the nose with a rolled up newspaper always worked for me.
  22. Here is a good site to read. Good news is they are very small and generally only stay in for 6 months. Good luck with the steroids. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/ear-tubes/MY00601/METHOD=print
  23. Ya'll ?.....whew, thought this was another Paula Dean thread. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDS5V7If1sI
