  1. This is why we are seeing so many videos online these days of young adults using their cell phones to record their challenging the police. We see these idiot young people telling the officer they have a constitutional right not to show the officer their drivers license, etc, all because they read or saw a video of another idiot giving out this type of false information. I have no doubt there are some of these people who will speed intentionally to get an officer to pull them over so they can pull this stunt and put it on the internet to get their 15 minutes of "fame."
  2. When I was a LEO, there were many different types of calls I responded to driving over the speed limit, but without the use of lights and sirens. Alarm calls at businesses and homes were one type of call that happened frequently. We responded without the use of the siren and only used the lights to pass a car; sometimes used the lights all the way to the location, but turned them off a few blocks before arriving. It all depended upon the circumstances. The last thing we wanted was to have the lights and siren give perps a warning as our goal was to catch them on the scene if were a break-i
  3. You apparently have your mind made up that the deputy in Paulding is guilty of reckless driving and nothing anyone says or proves to be true will change your mind. You seem to think the majority of police officers are assholes, law breakers, murders, and thieves.
  4. Here's an interesting article on the song. The current copyright on it is good until 2030.
  5. First of all, you would have to prove he was reckless. He activated his overhead emergency lights to pass the vehicle in front. Is that reckless? Not unless he was driving unreasonably fast, even for an emergency with lights and siren.
  6. So, if you thought his driving was an endangerment to others, you would have added to everyone else's safety by driving like he was to piss to get him to stop and talk to you? So you think after six months on the job, all cops are on a power trip. 11288677_918417098218072_1312223083_n.mp4
  7. Here's my takeaway on what you believe in that statement; in your mind the cops are getting what they deserve, that any cop that gets gunned down can't blame the shooter, but must blame his fellow officers.
  8. Here is some info I found online you should check into. Here's an article how this can legally happen in Georgia. From my understanding reading the article pertaining to Georgia, because he mows that strip of your property regularly and continues to refer to it as his property, and does so for 7 years, he can legally claim title to it because you were fully aware of it. I would definitely discuss this with an attorney.
  9. By all means challenge, but challenge it through proper channels. Arguing with the cop that he had no reason to pull you over and refusing to provide your drivers license is not the way to challenge it. What could have been just a ticket can turn quickly into an arrest and when you resist arrest, police officer can use what minimal force is necessary to place you under arrest. Be smart about it, not stupid.
  10. I didn't say they were being braver. I said they were challenging the police officer's authority more often, which is something I do not recommend. When a police officer pulls you over for a traffic violation and ask for your driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance you are obligated by law to provide it. Don't argue with the officer and tell him asking for those documents is violating your Constitutional rights, because they are not.
  11. The security cameras would record the destruction of the fence on a hard drive. The neighbors could destroy the security cameras, but there would be video of them doing so.
  12. Now don't you feel stupid that in the other thread about this shooting you were making the accusation the officer was probably trying to steal the shooter's money and got shot for it?
  13. The cop is guilty no matter how you cut it, but you also have to admit had the kid just complied when the cop asked for his documents, the kid would be alive today. There seems to be a growing trend in this country with teens and young adults wanting to challenge police officers when they get pulled over. Look at how many use their cell phones and then post the videos of them challenging the officer's authority to enforce traffic laws.
  14. I'll repeat myself; what the officer did was a crime. However, if the kid had chosen to just give his documents to the officer instead of arguing with him, he'd be alive today. Do you disagree?
  15. I watched the video in the OP and yes the cop was an asshole and he should have been criminally charged. At the same time the kid should have just given the cop his drivers license, registration, and proof of insurance as he was instructed to do. Instead they kid challenged the cop's authority and the cop pushed back and escalated things. Had the kid complied, the kid would have gotten nothing more than a ticket that he could have challenged in court. The lesson is not to act like a you're an expert on the law when pulled over by the police and challenge them. Just comply, take the t
  16. Why should a lawyer do it pro bono?
  17. If you know where the property pins are, mark them and then put up a couple of fence posts a few inches inside the property line. Video him as he's taking them down or destroying them. Call the cops again to file a complaint, then go to the DA's office and have a talk with them.
  18. It could be as simple as needing to replace the gas cap.
  19. I would put up a couple of fence posts about a foot inside the property line. Have your phone camera ready to take video or pictures as he starts to take them down, then call the police. The cops can't dispute that.
  20. I drink sodas occasionally, where I used to drink them all the time. I drink three cups of coffee each morning and then it's water and lemonade the rest of the day.
  21. I'm sure Coke isn't the only beverage loaded with that much sugar. Alcohol has a lot of sugar as well, which may explain why so many alcoholics become diabetics.
  22. It wasn't me as I'm very much alive. I'm glad the children are ok.
  23. I lot of people fall prey to cults, hate groups, and gangs because they are looking for a sense of belonging. They often have low self-esteem and groups like those will give them the feel special and worthwhile.
