  1. There wasn't anything dangerous. It was an intelligence center where everything we did was classified.
  2. A groundscrew is a screw that you screw into the grounds. I thought everyone knew that!
  3. While I was stationed at Ft. Gordon I worked in a secure building where everyone had to have a security clearance to enter. We had badges as well, but still had to go through security and the walk through metal dector. We even had to empty our pockets. It would back things up in the morning when more than 300 people were coming into work.
  4. You're assuming she was married and divorced several times as a Christian. Isn't it possible she didn't turn her life over to Christ until after her last divorce?
  5. Go back a few posts lady and you will see how you were getting rude and insulting to some who were disagreeing with you. You have a tendency to fire the first shot and when someone returns fire you cry foul. I've proven several times with sources that she did in fact request a reasonable accomodation, which contradicted what you said. You claim she was discriminating against gays, but how when she refused to issue marriage licenses to heterosexuals as well until a reasonable accommodation was made. The accommodation has been made and gays are now able to get a marriage license in her co
  6. Everybody to include employees and delivery people should have to go through the security check if they're going to make members of the public do so.
  7. She made the initial request with other clerks prior to that. She was also consulting with attorneys prior to the ACLU lawsuit. You really are out to persecute her. What recognized religious organization does that belief come from? I was well aware of the ACLU lawsuit. It was the catalyst for the judge charging her with contempt of court. Like I said, you're out to persecute the woman because she doesn't think like you. That's your MO.
  8. That's what I'd like to know. I'd like to buy some to kill a lot of underbrush growing on our property.
  9. Good grief you're just out to persecute this woman. The reasonable accommodation she requested and then received was to have her name removed from the marriage licenses. That accommodation has been met by removing her name from them. It's a done deal and gays are getting their marriage licenses in her county, but you still want her to resign.
  10. July 8 - Court clerks to include Davis in KY ask the governor for a special special session of the General Assembly for a bill to accommodate clerks who say the cannot issue marriage licenses for religious reasons. Source. September 7 - She asked the governor once again for a reasonable accomodation that would take her name off the marriage licenses. Source So yes, the request for a reasonable accomodation was made twice.
  11. She approached the state well before the judge had her jailed for contempt of court.
  12. She didn't discriminate against gays or any religion as she suspended issuing marriage licenses to both heterosexual and gay couples until her the state granted her a reasonable accommodation under their RFRA. That accommodation was made and the federal court judge accepted it. Now licenses are being issued to both heterosexuals and gay couples in her county. The only difference is her name is not on the licenses issued to gay couples.
  13. Davis is a Christian who strongly believes homosexuality is a sin and believes as the Bible states that marriage is between a man and a woman, not those of the same sex. She was elected Clerk of the Court when gay marriage was not an issue for her because gays could not legally marry in KY. That changed with the SCOTUS ruling on same-sex marriage being a constitutional right for gays. As the Clerk of the Court this became a religious issue for her because of what the Bible says. Her issue was not just the fact she believed in what the Bible said about marriage only being between a man and
  14. You had a few tokes this morning didn't you? I never touched the stuff.
  15. I've been cutting and removing a lot of underbrush on my property. Now that it's cooling off, I'll wait to continue once Winter is officially here.
  16. I wonder what percentage of college students were smokinng weed on college campuses during the late 60's and early 70's?
  17. You couldn't possibly vet them in two years either.
  18. Obama says we are going to properly vet those that we allow in. I'm here to tell you all there is no way to properly vet them and no for certain they all are who they say they are and none of them are members of ISIS or any other Islamic extremist group.
  19. You seem to forget Obama campaigned he could "fix" all this stuff. You also have to admit Libya is a problem Obama created. The Syrian civil war started in 2011, on Obama's watch. I wouldn't call the war in Iraq a blunder. What I call a blunder regarding Iraq is how Clinton and the UN handled Iraq and the weapons inspections. You also seem to forget that all during the years of the Clinton administration Clinton and Gore stating Iraq still possessed WMDs and were still manufacturing WMDs.
  20. He fails to realize this problem is owned by Obama. He's the one who assessed ISIS as nothng more than a "JV team" ignoring the fact military intelligence was saying otherwise. Once he realized ISIS was more than a "JV team" his idea of military action to defeat them is the sole use of air sorties, which he claims has been very successful, but news reports indicate otherwise. ISIS controls more territory today than they did when the air sorties started.
  21. I recommend the HP Officejet 4632. I bought one a few months ago for less than $100 and I really like it. It scans, faxes, copies, and prints. The ink cartridges last quite awhile.
  22. Why aren't they fleeing to Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, or Qatar?
  23. That statement right there is what TBAR would say all the time in these discussions on religion and government.
