I hope I'm wrong as well.

I don't think liquor stores are going to see an increase in sales with this. All it will do is shift some of Friday and Saturday sales to Sunday. It won't be enough for most liquor stores to be open on Sundays.

Here's who will be in the bottom three tonight: Haley, Paul, and Jacob. Of these three, Paul should be going home. However, it will most likely be Haley. Stephano, Paul, and Jacob should have been gone already. Stefano, Paul, and Jacob should have been sent home a long time ago. The judges are very disappointing this season. Nobody really is giving constructive criticism to help the contestants really grow. They really aren't judges at all. I was really disappointed Pia was sent home last week. Personally, I thought she had the best voice of all the contestants. You can teach s

I remember having homework every night in high school and on weekends. In history, there were one or two chapters from the text book we had to read every night to be prepared for the lecture and discussions on them the following day in class. We would also get a list of questions we would have to answer from the reading assignments, which were graded. We would get homework every night in our math and science subjects as well. I disagree with assigning homework that doesn't get graded as that approach often encourages students not to do it. Make homework count as a certain percentage of

Question About Stealing From Another Website
Foxmeister replied to Foxmeister's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I only ask because of a comment LPPT made in another thread about people pm'ing others here with a link to another site, saying it was stealing. -
Is this stealing?

Monday. It's a federal holiday, so I'll be off.

My 7-month old German Shepherd loves it. He was running all around the yard. He would even dive forward into it while running. He's like a little kid in it. My other dogs quickly go do their business and then come back to the door.

I didn’t comprehend what the two of you were saying? Mrnn stated in post #27: He followed up on that in post #39: In each of these statements, he’s giving the impression he believes the shooting was politically motivated by someone who follows Palin. He states in post #42: Once again giving indication this shooting was politically motivated and bringing Palin into it. You chimed in on post #61: You then edited that post a few minutes later to add: Even though you added your disclaimer, you left your comments about Palin being crazy and your ac -

Again, the pot calling the kettle black. You jumped on the bandwagon mrnn started. When it was revealed this shooter was a far lefty, you began backpeddling. You have used the word "crazy" many times to describe the shooter of the congresswoman as if it equates to mean insane, which you now deny. For the third time, what is your definition of "crazy?" -

For the purpose of clarification, why don't you give us your definition of "crazy?" -

So questioning a person's sanity equates to being insane? Give me a break. He has yet to be diagnosed as being legally insane prior to and during the shootings. -

I take it you mean by him being crazy that he's insane. Are you now a psychiatrist? You're not qualified to make that decision. I'm sure this guy will go through several psychiatric exams before he goes to trial. Lets let those who are qualified make the diagnosis. -

Where has he been diagnosed as being insane or not in control of his faculties while he was shooting all those soldiers at Ft. Hood? Your comments would indicate everyone who commits a murder is insane and that's not the case at all. -

His religion had nothing to do with him shooting all those people at Ft. Hood? What rock have you been hiding under? There's been all kinds of things released by the news media to show he was religiously motivated in his actions. He even yelled out, "Allah Akbar" as he was shooting. Allah Akbar means "God is Great" in Arabic and it's what most suicide terrorists yell just before they commit their killings. -

The Democrats are doing the same thing in preparation of the next elections. Notice their caption: "Behind Enemy Lines." -
I visit several forums myself. This is the only one I frequent where the moderators are anonymous. For anyone to believe the rules are enforced equally amongst all who posts in the political forum is absurd. There are certain individuals who get away get away with breaking rules while others aren't given that slack. I think a big part of that reason is the anonymity of the moderators. I see a more even keel of rules enforcement at the other forums I frequent where the moderators have no anonymity. Perhaps it's something pubby should consider.

First of all, we can most assuredly come to an agreement we are not buddies. Second of all, the intent of my comment about changing my vote because of the bad conduct of Avery supporters was not to make myself out to be a "hero." It was to demonstrate that if the poor conduct by many of Avery's supporters (not just you) made me change my vote, it could have changed the minds of others as well. Think about it. Your candidate might have stood a better chance if many of his supporters on this site had shown more civility to others. Politics seems to go more into the gutter each election w

How were the crowds at your voting site?
Foxmeister replied to The Sound Guy's topic in Paulding County NEWS
It's not uncommon to have low voter turnout during a primary election when it's mostly one party that has contested races, like we had here in Paulding. Naturally, there will be people who won't vote in a primary when their party doesn't have contested races. Also add to the fact that turnout for primaries in mid-term elections are usually much lower than they are for the general election which most voters find to be more important. Our county election officials who planned this did a poor job and the result of it caused people who wanted to vote not to because of the long lines with multip
